My husband and i have been married for four years and have 2 children. He has lost about 5 jobs since we have been married and all for the same reasons. About 2 days to a week into the job he starts singing the same song--"My boss is intimidated by me becuz i know more, or " the way they do things is backwards, my way is better", or " i'm bored"..he never quits, but always gives the employer a reason to fire him. If he doesnt like the job, he wont stay. I have taken care of the family since we have been together and have grown tired. I tried explaining to him that he needs to swallow his pride and work for the sake of me and the kids but he wont listen. Im tired. We have a mortgage and other bills that are way too much for me to do by myself. I wont to just stop and let it all fall apart....how else can i get him to understand that i am sick and tired of this....is there any hope?..

I have read several questions today that seek to discuss the effects of cheating. The popular response is "who am I to judge?"

Is eliminating that person from your life judging?

Ive had this guy friend for over a year but I moved to another state and we've kept in contact. Recently I visited him and we kissed but never talked about our feelings (as I had to head back home). Then he contacted me and I invited him to visit me. He said he'd love to once he gets some free time (he's a huge study load). Last conversation he asked how long I'm going to be around (as i'm thinking of travelling). Told him at least a few mths so he said maybe at next vacation he will visit but he's thinking of going to his parents instead (who live in another country). I told him ok & then sort of joking said that I wont invite him again! He got the joke & laughed. This is wrecking my head though. I know family is important but I feel I'm wasting my time. What do you think? Also, I'm the one who is now saying 'hi' on chat & we only talk once a wk or so. Maybe its that its so long distance its difficult. we're both single without kids. I'm much older too.

I'm currently in a relationship. It's a good relationship.. it's also my longest. I use to just date.. and not get into relationships because I'm so picky. I found someone who is wonderful.. but I miss the part about being able to spend time with anyone I want.. in a sexual way or not.. My bf is a jelous guy and this makes it even harder on me. I guess I'm just having a hard time letting go of me just doing things for me..with no questions asked. Will this go away.. how can I get rid of it.. any help would be wonderful.

well I got married in 2003 and since then we have split up. I found out a bunch of things about this man that I did not know and now I would like to know if mine and his marriage was ever legal I found out that at one time he had a wife don't now anything more than just that. if he was married and never got a it taken care of then that would mean that his and my marriage was never raffishly right? my Q is this how would I find out about his past marriage (s) ? and would I still have to pay to have a divorce from him??

I'm sick of having my needs ignored, even when I'm jumping through hoops for her (because I love her and want to be a good husband). Why not add "not to ingore my partners needs sexual or otherwise" to the "cherish, honor,..."

Your thoughts?

My boyfriend has family in New York (We live in Philadelphia, PA), i can't stand when he calls me out of the blue and tells me he is going to New York that same day, it was either already planned and he didn't tell me or he just decided to go that day. Sometimes he comes home the same night and sometimes he stayss over for the night. I can't stand when he doesn't give me notice in advance, its common courtesy. Like today I CALLED HIM and he was on his way to New York. Would this bother you. I mean aren't u suppossed to tell your other half when your going out of state. He is visiting his brother and grandmother, but thats not the point.

I asked him to stop the affair because we have two small children together. he refused left the house and has continued to have an affair with this woman. I have told her husband of the affair and he chooses to look the other way. I have no intentions at this point to work things out with my husband but she is influencing my husband to do things that are not appropriate is there anything I can do.

One cynic described marriage as one year of flame and forty years of ashes. I believe he thought this because he related love to feeling, not to a daily decision. The feeling of love comes and goes and comes back again like your appetite. The commitment of love is unrelenting and sure. Loving commitment is an act of the will – a self-disciplined lifestyle.

When my husband goes out to hang out with his friends he usually comes home around 3:30 am but I think that is too late. When I go out I try to get back in between 1 am - 2:00 am but usually earlier than that. Sometimes he has come home between 4 am - 5 am always with some BS excuse why he is coming in so late so my question is, what time is a respectable time for a married person to come home?

If husband found out their wife is cheating? So he wouldn't be able to use it agianst her later.

I'm asking this question for my sister, she's in love with someone else and want a divorce. Even though her husband knows that she is, he refused to let her go.

I just found out a couple of weeks ago that my husband had been cheating on me with his "other babymama" when I was pregnant with our son. I was very upset and made him leave the house but now he's really upset with me and I dont understand why when he's the cheater!! He left and is now seeing other women...(which I found out from looking at his Myspace). Why is he doing such things?

When I suspected my husband of possibly cheating with an ex-girlfriend, I told him if I ever caught him coming out of her house, that I would be packing his bags and bringing them over her house. So on several occassions, he has brought up that if I ever put him out, that he wasn't coming back. The nerve of him for trying to make me feel guilty for him cheating and lying. Was he using reverse psychology, to make me accept this bullcrap..Who cares if he doesn't come back I put him out anyway. :)

My Uncle was in a Motorcycle accident in 1998 several yards from home. His wife declined a trust that his job wanted to set up for his rehabilitation. Then shortly after filed for divorce because he was in her words "not the same man she married."
My family has been taking care of him since this time. We have never felt that he was in any way a burden and still do not. His doctors have advised us that now he needs an upgrade for his wheelchair. This will cost several thousand dollars and we can't afford it at this time. We are just looking for some Organizations that will help us to fund the upgrades. We are not looking for any money just the upgrade of equipment that he needs. In what ever form it can be provided.

Recently got out of a great relationship a few weeks ago. Nothing bad contributed to the break-up, no cheating, no abuse, etc, more of me wanting it to go somewhere and him not wanting to commit or "get serious." (both 25) We were both sad but decided we want different things. Now he is with someone else. She has a better body than me and she's younger. We don't live in a small town but we run around in the same circles and somehow, everyone knows everyone and everything gets back to me.

I for one have NOT moved on after three weeks and am still in love. So how do you move on after you know the person you love is with someone else? I have a life, I stay busy, I go out with friends, but everything gets back to me and i KNOW i will bump into them sooner or later. I just feel hurt and used and discarded like I was nothing to him and surprised he has apparently moved on so quickly.

(please no rude answers... I'm sad enough as is)

my hubby (23) and i (21) were having this discussion. when i met my hubby, i knew he smoked & drank alot, from what his family says, he really calmed down after he met me & more so when we got married. he promised me he was going to stop smoking, i find it a total turn off. the drinking, well i don't like it either, but i know he doesn't drink alot like he use to, so what can i do, you know? i wasn't raised around smoking & drinking. i never saw the point in it & it's something that isn't part of my life. on the other hand, he was. i seen his parents get drunk & argue horribly to the point where they're punching & hitting each other. i'm 22 wks pregnant with our first baby. i don't want my baby to raised like that. i told my hubby if he refuses to stick to his promise, that's him. yeah i make a big deal, because he promised. if not then i wouldn't. & if he's going to be drinking or smoking, he is not going to do it around my baby or in our house. any advice? :( thx :)

I am falling in love with a guy that has a very awful past. He has been in prison on several occassions, leaving him with a very bad rap sheet and record. On theother hand, he is the most kindest and generous man I know. He is however having a hard time getting a job, but whenever he gets or comes into money, he gives it all to me. I always seem to attract bad boys, thugs, or criminals. I have a degree and I hols a very important job title, an dI consider myself to be well educated. I would like a few opinions as to Am I making a mistake or am I setting myself up to settle for the first available man that comes my way? Should I keep searching or should I end this becaue I know it will not go any further.

He left me. He didn't want to try and talk and work it out, he just started packing his things and left. And in the time that has passed I have picked back up on the goals that I dropped for him. Like finishing school, and trying to make friends without worry of being accused of cheating on him. I am no longer afraid of being made to feel stupid about not knowing about drugs and violence and I don't feel like I have to keep my silence to make anyone happy. I can talk about church to people now, I can talk about the things that go on in my schooling. I do feel bad. I put my all in to him, I was in it for life. I gave up everything he wanted me to so he could be happy and he still was never really happy, he always wanted everything seperate, I still love him, but I know I can't ever lose myself like that again. I have so many people supporting me in this telling me that I should not have been the only one trying to make the relationship work. Without them I know I would be out of sorts.
