I'm on the birth control pill. Tonight my bf and I had unprotected sex...I just got off my period last night. So, my theory is that even though the hormones may not have kicked in yet, since it was so soon there was no way I could have ovulated yet, therefore I'm not pregnant. Right?? This is just to put his mind at ease...I know I can't be...i think...

I am pregnant with my second child and my hubby and i are struggling to find names to match our 4yr old daughters name.
We don't know if were having a boy or girl at this point but any suggestions would be ace.
Our 4yr old daughters name is Isabella paige.... we have discussed Marcella for a girl or Marcello for a boy but neither of us are 100% about those names!
It is our opinion that Isabella is a "princess name" with charactor, herritage and is strong...... does anyone have any suggestions on a name with these simular charactoristics that will sound great when we say the names or our children are Isabella and ."........"???

I know this is not the best place to get advice from others.. Some people on here can be down right cruel.

But here goes anyway.

From my past posts you know that my daughter has turned 18 this month.

After having bought my daughter a car. She has to plate, tag, and insurance it before she can drive. She also has to finish getting her lisense.

I have recently told her since she is not 18 and running around telling people that "I'm an adult, you can't tell me what to do anymore".. YEAH RIGHT!!.

I am limiting what I will do for her. I will NO longer drive her back and forth to her friends house. She gets there and back on her own. Until she gets her car legal I WILL drive her back and forth to work.

I will NO LONGER buy her any more food.. She does NOT pay rent or any utilities for the house, so all that is left is her cell phone and food and what nots for the baby. Her baby. He is 2.

wat is your opinion on teen drinking? were/ are you a teen drinker? im a teen and i just found out that this guy i like is going to get drunk tonite and it wont be the first(and im pretty sure not the last) time he gets hammered. i alsofound out that a few of my other close friends drink....i dont know wat to do...the guy i like(d) asked if i have ever gotten drunk i told him "no.and i have no desire to." i am way apposed to teen drinking.
one time a friend told me that she drinks and smokes. i told her not to. she asked me y. i looked her in the eyes and said "i dont want u to be responsible for your death."

i kno a lot of people r going to be like drinking is harmeless and u r stupid and watev. but please just answer my question.

I just found out that I am, in deed, 4 weeks pregnant today! I have 2 cats. We have had them for many years. I cant and wont get rid of them. I know I cant do the cat litter. What else do I have to look out for with being pregnant and having cats. Is there anything else I should be watching? Looking out for? Cant eat? Cant take? Anything. yes, me & my husband have been trying to conceive this month of December. tonight i started having pull pains in my lower & upper stomach, like my right side where my ovary is, and my upper right side under my breast. Speakin of breast they have had a STABBING pinching pain today. and i have a REALLY bad kidney infection causing my back to KILL me but I did hear that pregnant women get kidney infections ALOT more than normally...now im not due for a period till the 12th of Jan, so I know this is NOT period symptoms, and also earlier i had some small cramping...could I be pregnant??? when should i test since im feeling all of this?!?

I went to to Dr on Friday and she said i was dialated to a 3 and 70 percent effaced, This is my first pregnany i'm 37 weeks, I have not felt a contraction, or if i have i certainly have no idea that i did. I'm worried i will have no idea if im in labor, I think i've had my bloody show, for the past 3 days i've had a brown thick discharge, it hurts really bad to walk i can hardly stand up straight. Will i actually know that i'm in labor? Cause so far i've felt really nothing as far as pain anywhere.

So, my daughter's room is driving me insane! She's 3 and has no less than 10 baby dolls, an infinite number of teddy bears, 12 barbies!!! I want to "organize" her room and clean out some of the clutter...

I've tried begging her to help me bag them up to donate to a child in need, but she told me sadly "I'm just not ready to give them away yet mommy." I tried the "but they don't have any toys to play with" and she said, "Oh, well, mommy, we can go buy them some!"

I asked everyone at Christmas to get her clothes, books, or storage items.. lol.. however, as you can guess, we came home with baby strollers, wagons, 3 baby dolls, 3 new barbies, etc.!!! Help!!!

And, to make matters more dire, her birthday is in 2 weeks!

How do you deal with all the clutter?

I am 24 weeks pregnant and have spells of feeling light headed. Today I really thought I was going to pass out at the mall. I don't recall EVER feeling like this w/ my first pregnancy. At first it only ever happened right after lunch or around 3-4p, so I assumed it was related to need for food/water, but it seems to happen at various times now. Anyone else had this feeling? Any suggestions? Thoughts?

Yes, I will be calling my midwife on 1/2. I should have talked to her about it when I was there last time, but was just thinking about what "kind" of baby we were going to get (had an ultrasound that day).

I've now met two women who homeschool their kids, who tell me they feel that they and their spouse should choose their future children's spouse. They feel that they are in the best situation to know what is best for their children.

It seems like these parents are trying to control even what happens to them as adults and not allow their children to have the right to make any decisions for themselves.

What do you think about this?

I have been experiencing right side pain at the lower abdomen since I am 4 to 5 weeks pregnant (I am now 5 weeks). I think it is somewhere around the tube or ovary. could this be ectopic? The pain comes and goes but it wasn't unbearable pain, and there is no bleeding. Does ectopic pain starts at such early stage? Does the pain comes and goes or will it be always there? Does anyone experience this or have such information? Do help. Appointment is not due until 6 weeks...

My 6 year old son is obsessed with toy guns. That's all he likes to play with. He even builds them with his Legos and KNex. I do admit, they are pretty detailed and quite impressive but is it normal to only have those interests?
