I'm on the birth control pill. Tonight my bf and I had unprotected sex...I just got off my period last night. So, my theory is that even though the hormones may not have kicked in yet, since it was so soon there was no way I could have ovulated yet, therefore I'm not pregnant. Right?? This is just to put his mind at ease...I know I can't be...i think...

First of all, if you are on the pill, you weren't having unprotected sex.

Second, you're not supposed to ovulate at all on the pill. That's the primary way in which it works, if you are taking it correctly. It is supposed to prevent pregnancy at all times, not just three weeks out of four.

You are probably not pregnant. But, make him wear a condom anyway, just for grins. Birth control pills can fail just like any other form of birth control.

Your definately not pregnant. You're on the pill which is good and also it was way too soon to have ovulated. Don't worry bout it. It pretty impossible! Hope you have an excellent year. Happy New Years!!!

wait two weeks and then take home test. If NEG--you are ok. If POS--make appointment with ob/gyn for verification. You don't say how old you are, but BF should use protection EVEN IF YOU ARE ON THE PILL. Pill protects against pregnancy but NOT STD's.

Let me stress this...ANY time you have sex there is a chance that you may get pregnant....the only way to avoid pregnancy 100 percent is to NOT have sex..

You are on the pill and have just finished your period so you should be okay as far as pregnancy goes.
