I went to to Dr on Friday and she said i was dialated to a 3 and 70 percent effaced, This is my first pregnany i'm 37 weeks, I have not felt a contraction, or if i have i certainly have no idea that i did. I'm worried i will have no idea if im in labor, I think i've had my bloody show, for the past 3 days i've had a brown thick discharge, it hurts really bad to walk i can hardly stand up straight. Will i actually know that i'm in labor? Cause so far i've felt really nothing as far as pain anywhere.

WELL THE TOP CONTRIBUTOR CINDYV IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG! I have been having brown/dark reddish discharge for about 2 weeks now. Not all people lose their mucous plug all at once. My doctor told me it was bits of my mucous plug due to my cervix ripening...which is probably the same thing you're experiencing. You will know when you're in labor. I've had lots of close calls but when the day comes your body will definately let you know. If you're ever in doubt...phone your doctor and tell them what's up, I'm sure they would also tell you whether or not your symptoms add up to labor pains. Good luck

oh
and p.s. not everyone's water breaks either!
so I wouldn't count on it to necessarily be a sign...unless it does happen

factor a million: each and every occasion has to discover volunteers to stand as applicants. not sufficient volunteers - not sufficient applicants. factor 2: status in a hopeless ward, in spite of the reality that ideal for all of the national events, isn't consistently functional, and, of direction, expenses money. status potential putting up a deposit, and publishing election fabric. factor 3: In 2007 i don't think of any occasion is fielding applicants in extra desirable than 60% of each and every of the council seats up for election. there's a ward close to me this is actual solidly Tory. some years in the past the Tories could not come across a candidate. Nor would desire to the different occasion different than Labour. So he gained the seat by potential of default. the guy replaced right into a nicely-known previous staunch socialist and it replaced into quite ironic that he spend 4 years representing a severe Tory rural ward. The Tories made advantageous they placed up a candidate 4 years later. P.S. while you are going to cite Shakespeare you may a minimum of realize it. "Wherefore" incredibly potential "why are you", not "the place are you". Juliet replaced into asking why Romeo had to be from a family members with whom hers had a feud.

you are in the early stages of labor and it can last for days to weeks before you deliver but you only go to 100% so your more than half way there you also dilate to 10 but you can jump pretty fast you will start to feel stronger labor pains really soon since it sounds like your moving right alone good look and it sounds like your see you baby soon

labour feels like very strong period pain at first and gets stronger, more intense and closer together. if you can't talk when the pain comes its labour!!

As for the brown discharge, thats not really a show. A show is one or two big globs of mucus thats really sticky and stringy. You could have had it but I would be mentioning to your doctor that you have had brown discharge if it is a continuous think brown discharge for 2 days.

The pain (in your groin/pelvis?) is probably from the babys head pushing down on everything. It does hurt to walk and such but I found that gettin down on my knees and elbows with my bum in the air helped to take the pressure of my pelvis and give some relief for a while. looks a bit silly but works!!

If in doubt call your doctor especially about the discharge

when you start to feel the contractions you will know what is going on...and then when they get to be at least 5 minutes apart and lasting at least a minute you should get yourself to a hospital. and you could be dialated like that for weeks, or you could go into labor tomorrow, you never know! good luck, and congrats!
