I was wondering how many parents would let their son, regardless of age, dress as a girl if he really wanted to? Not for any thing to do with heterosexuality or homosexuality, just because he thought they were more comfortable and fun to wear. Please tell your experiences.

I'm about 10 weeks pregnant due July 30th 2008.

The nurse said there doing an ultrasound this thursday why would they do one this early?

I had a miscarriage in 2001, but I had a child perfectly fine after that so why would they do it so early? She was saying this way they can make sure July 30th is the right date but they never did more then one the last 2 kids..Just curious

Not complaining, just trying to ask some 'fun' questions.

When you're close to your due date, how many of you get the question "Oh, you're still here?" or "You didn't have your baby yet?" when you go to work, see relatives, etc?

How do you respond to the question?

Toward the last two weeks of my last pregnancy I was annoyed with the questions, so I just made a game of how many comments I got each day at work. Instead of thinking 'geez, another question', I thought 'ooh, another point for today'. The lowest was 5 in one day, and the highest was 14!

Sometimes I would smile and very nicely answer "Nope, I'm not here".

What are your reasons for not wanting your daughter, who has offered to be responsible and pay her own phone bills, to have a cell phone? What would change your mind? I need a range of opinions.

I have 15 month old identical twin boys that are starting to hit. They will hit me if I do not give them what I have, and they are now hitting eachother. I cannot figure out how to teach them this is wrong. They see eachother doing it, so they think it's funny. I am a stay at home mom with NO help, and I am going nuts!

I would have to say my parents. They got married when my mom was 16 and my dad was 17 and through it all, they still have a wonderful, strong marriage (something to be respected in this day of quickie divorces). They also both were high school drop outs. They now have really good jobs, and my mom is even a few months away from getting her Master's Degree! They always did so much for my brother and I, and if my marriage and my relationship with my kids is half as good as what they have, I'll be happy. They have stuck by me through it all, and I believe that I would not be who I am today without my parents love and guidance.

I'm 13 years old and 16 weeks pregnant. My doc says she recommends a c-section at 38 weeks. I'm just wandering what the scar is going to look like and if you recommend a vertical or horizontal incision and is the scar going to heal completely and fade? I'm keeping the baby and I'm naming him Andre.

... what would you think if you were having an e-mail "conversation" with someone after she sent one from her Mothers allegedly to wish you a Happy New Year and to assure you that she would wish your grandsons one from you since they are away and I won't 'phone there (too much trouble for her Mother to answer it seems).
You get into an online conversation and you tell her that you are still playing your brother's funeral music and *she* askes what music you might like at your funeral.
I told her that I need to think about it and then she sends back this link as a suggestion -

Hilarious isn't it?
I told her that I will make sure that I put it into my will on the first line but she hasn't replied yet.
I didn't realise before what a great sense of humour she had
The boys will certainly thrive with such a Mother as that!
Notice the Red Rose tatoo in the video too - she must have spent weeks thinking that one up for me!
How considerate

This could be anything. A tip, a suggestion, or a helpful hint. You know, sometimes there are things that you do not realize could be harmful to a newborn that maybe sometimes people dont know about. Sometimes there are little tips to help make the adjustment easier for you and for baby! Please I am just asking for your one tip that you think that maybe ALL NEW mothers should know. Thank you in advance for all of your useful information. I look forward to your replies!

Moms have you ever been so nauseated that you couldn't cook a good meal for your kid(s)? I have been suffering with recurrent nausea due to a medication I take. Today I was doing fine, but around 5pm I started to feel really bad. I went to the bathroom and sat on the floor for about 10 mins, then went into the living room, checked my 3 yr old son, put on a video, and went back to the bathroom again for another 10 mins. I did this for like an hr. I knew he was hungry, so when I could control my gag reflex well enough, I went to the kitchen. I gave my son 7-8 saltine crackers, a couple of Kraft singles and an apple. He seems fine with it, but I feel so guilty!

so how can i get her to go to sleep?

We started feeding our 3.5 month son baby food for the first time, and notice that, even with a bib on, our son manages to get food every where. My wife has tried to clean it in the washer, but it doesn't seem to get it out. Can anyone give us any advise on what to use to get rid of the stains before we loose all of his clothing to stains? Or can anyone give us any ideas how to feed him without getting food all over his clothes?
