I would have to say my parents. They got married when my mom was 16 and my dad was 17 and through it all, they still have a wonderful, strong marriage (something to be respected in this day of quickie divorces). They also both were high school drop outs. They now have really good jobs, and my mom is even a few months away from getting her Master's Degree! They always did so much for my brother and I, and if my marriage and my relationship with my kids is half as good as what they have, I'll be happy. They have stuck by me through it all, and I believe that I would not be who I am today without my parents love and guidance.

Who's the most influential person in YOUR life?

That' s so great to hear that about your parents - and good for your mom getting her Master's.
My dad was my most influential person - he got his Associate's Degree when he turned 55 - but he was literally the smartest person I knew! He never stopped being enthusiastic about learning and trying new things! He passed away Jan 2, 2000. I miss him! Now my mom is my inspiration - she is carrying on without him with great courage though he was her life!

I enjoyed what you wrote about your parents. It's wonderful to have someone praise and respect their parents. Yours are certainly special!!
I was lucky to have several influential people along the way. My mother died when I was a baby and I had the best father in the world! He moved us to his parents' country home and no matter how busy he was teaching, coaching basketball and and enjoying his many hobbies, he always put me first. His brother lived there too and was a high school principal. He was the love of my life. He taught me many things about being a good person. From my grandfather I learned gentleness and kindness. He was a saint! When my uncle married, his wife helped me with the "girl" things of adolescence. She was more like a mother to me. I had a lot of teachers who helped me be a good student and were very influential and I had a couple of teachers who taught me by example how NEVER to become. My mother, by not being with me, was influential because that made me more grateful to be able to be with my children and determined to be a good mother to them. Through it all, the Lord Jesus has led me and directed my path. I wish everyone could have as many great people in their lives as I have had.

Too many. Well, I have a few main people...

My parents, who stood by me and believed that I could do whatever I can. They're really supportive of everything and they are continuing to influence me, and they always will.

My best friend since 4th grade, Casie, who toughened me up and gave me a more confident personality, thanks to her talking louder that everyone around her, forcing me to yell. ;-)

My penpals, Brandon, Sally, Gerald, and Sammi, who would travel a thousand miles just to talk to me. They've helped me go through some really hard times and they've always listened... after some arguing.

My friend, Eric, who helped me gain an even more confident personality, and who turned my life around. I don't know what I would have been without him.

Yeah. That's about it. I have plenty more, believe me. :-)

There are so many people that have really influenced my life!!!
My parents- They're the best parents, I wouldn't change a thing about them. They've always supported me. They give me their opinions on things but they let me make my own decisions.
My brother- He's always there for me. He keeps my dad from going off on me, he never lets me get hurt. He's helped me through so much. He's older by 7 years, so he's been through everything I have like my parents, but he's easier to go to about certain things just because we're closer in age. He's my best friend.
My boyfriend- He saved my life, I met him when I was very suicidal. We got to talking and he just gave me hope. I was very closed when we met, I never let people in. Now I'm more open with people and I'm not as scared of trusting people.

All of them have changed my life for the better and they'll always be in my life one way or another =)
