I've seen some remedies for thumb suckers but she sucks the 2nd and 3rd fingers of her right hand.

I knew a girl whose daughter did this... she bought her a huge manicure kit, and told her that she can't wear nail polish until she stops sucking her fingers, then placed the kit right on the girl's night stand... it worked, she was done within a few days, they had a big 'Pretty Nails' party with some of her little friends, and the problem was solved. Hope this helps! :)

If you take her to get her nails done, she won't want to ruin the nail polish. You can also try putting a lotion on her hands and rubbing it in. So even if she sucks on it, she will taste the lotion and stop.
You can also try a suck jar, everytime you catch her sucking her fingers, she has to put a dime in the jar. You get the dimes.

Good Luck!!! My godbrother and the godfather to my children sucks the exact same fingers TO THIS DAY. During the day he is a normal functional adult but as soon as he sleeps, even for cat naps he is back to when we were four and six years old, when he would have his gross little fingers in his mouth! There is something supremely comforting about it! You may have to wait until she is a little older and slowly ween her off of them!

Both my children suck the same fingers. my daughter is nearly 3 and my son is almost 7 months. What I've been told is that finger/thumb sucking doesn't pose a problem until the adult teeth start to come in.

What we have tried with her is the nasty tasting nail polish, i think its called no bite or something like that, i got it at a beauty supply store. My daughter doesn't do it much except when shes really tired or scared. then we just remind her no fingers and she takes them out of her mouth.

EDIT- the fingernail polish party is a great idea!

For my daughter it was her thumb. I took her into the dentist and had a device put into the roof of her mouth. They put rings on her back molars, glued it in, then glued in the device. It didn't hurt at all but it did keep fingers and thumb out of her mouth. After 6 months I had it taken out and she hasn't regressed. She's 5 and I'm so glad its over and done with. It made her have a tiny lisp while she wore the device, but it didn't effect understanding her words.

For the thumbs down, I don't care. I was a determined thumb sucker that didn't stop till my teen years. My mother tried bribing, polishes, tobasco. She even used to tape socks over my hands. I didn't want to go through a power struggle with my child and felt a device was much more humane than polishes and tobasco. Until you've been on the extreme end of the spectrum, you have no idea how hard some things can be.

Tell her that she will have to go to the dentist to have her teeth fixed if she continues to suck her fingers. I used to do the same thing and now have an overbite (Not severe) because I was 7 when I finally quit sucking the same fingers.
