I don't know about most men, but my husband has a daughter from his 1st marriage. And after he meet me, we had 2 more kids together. So I think at least some men want to have more kids with the person there are currently with. =)

I had 4 kids from a previous marriage and my new wife had 1 and together we had 2 so we have a total of 7 ranging from 24 to 5 so yeah why not. I'm not saying it's always going to be easy but life is'nt suppose to be. good luck to you and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

My husband did.

But, I don't think he would have wanted to have children with me if I hadn't supported his desire to continue to parent his first child, and if I hadn't made an effort to parent her with him when she was here.

Some men, too, are afraid of having a child in a subsequent relationship for fear that that relationship, too, will fall apart, once again tearing him apart from his child.
