I know this is not the best place to get advice from others.. Some people on here can be down right cruel.

But here goes anyway.

From my past posts you know that my daughter has turned 18 this month.

After having bought my daughter a car. She has to plate, tag, and insurance it before she can drive. She also has to finish getting her lisense.

I have recently told her since she is not 18 and running around telling people that "I'm an adult, you can't tell me what to do anymore".. YEAH RIGHT!!.

I am limiting what I will do for her. I will NO longer drive her back and forth to her friends house. She gets there and back on her own. Until she gets her car legal I WILL drive her back and forth to work.

I will NO LONGER buy her any more food.. She does NOT pay rent or any utilities for the house, so all that is left is her cell phone and food and what nots for the baby. Her baby. He is 2.

I've now met two women who homeschool their kids, who tell me they feel that they and their spouse should choose their future children's spouse. They feel that they are in the best situation to know what is best for their children.

It seems like these parents are trying to control even what happens to them as adults and not allow their children to have the right to make any decisions for themselves.

What do you think about this?

I was wondering how many parents would let their son, regardless of age, dress as a girl if he really wanted to? Not for any thing to do with heterosexuality or homosexuality, just because he thought they were more comfortable and fun to wear. Please tell your experiences.

would you want to have more kids with your new girlfriend/wife

... what would you think if you were having an e-mail "conversation" with someone after she sent one from her Mothers allegedly to wish you a Happy New Year and to assure you that she would wish your grandsons one from you since they are away and I won't 'phone there (too much trouble for her Mother to answer it seems).
You get into an online conversation and you tell her that you are still playing your brother's funeral music and *she* askes what music you might like at your funeral.
I told her that I need to think about it and then she sends back this link as a suggestion -

Hilarious isn't it?
I told her that I will make sure that I put it into my will on the first line but she hasn't replied yet.
I didn't realise before what a great sense of humour she had
The boys will certainly thrive with such a Mother as that!
Notice the Red Rose tatoo in the video too - she must have spent weeks thinking that one up for me!
How considerate

Moms have you ever been so nauseated that you couldn't cook a good meal for your kid(s)? I have been suffering with recurrent nausea due to a medication I take. Today I was doing fine, but around 5pm I started to feel really bad. I went to the bathroom and sat on the floor for about 10 mins, then went into the living room, checked my 3 yr old son, put on a video, and went back to the bathroom again for another 10 mins. I did this for like an hr. I knew he was hungry, so when I could control my gag reflex well enough, I went to the kitchen. I gave my son 7-8 saltine crackers, a couple of Kraft singles and an apple. He seems fine with it, but I feel so guilty!

... is suitable for a very intelligent and sensitive eight-year-old boy?
I have not read the book but have seen the film and given the themes I wish to bolster the boy's confidence through his reading (which no-one could object to given so much emphasis these days on the "literacy hour" in schools).
Failing that could anyone suggest any other books that would be suitable for him given that it seems that he will not be allowed to express *himself* by joining a drama group (in which he would excel).

when my husband took my kids and i fishing and my kids were bored so i put a fishing hook with a line attached and put it in the my belly button. i told the kids that i was going swimming and their father caught me and that that is how you fish for people, by catching and piercing their belly button. do you do things like that to trick or entertain your kids? if so, i want to hear them.

I seemed to get yelled at for EVERYTHING. If I forget to clean my room for a day, I get yelled at. If I forget to charge my cell phone, I get yelled at. If I forget to put my coat to the hanger, if don't get up on time for once, if I forget to do the dishes...

I try not to make mistakes, but I always do. How can I learn to be "the perfect" child?

For those children that dont get allowance i belive they are slaves. They are put to do chores and order by their parents for about 18 years which sound like slavery for me.

Yesterday I picked up my 11 year old daughter, the mother and I agreed on no set time to meet the next day (today) to drop her off.

Fast forward to today

My daughter talked to her mom on the phone then handed me the phone. The mom said " can you please feed her she said she is starving. I jokingly said "no", but then said of course she is going to be fed, but she just woke up and took a shower, and once me and my other daughter take a shower we are going out to eat then to the movies.

about 10 min later:
I get a call from the Mom, she said " I'm on my way over right now to pick her up" i said " don't pick her up now we are getting ready to go out, we can meet like originally planned at 7pm and drop daughter off." She basically lost it at that point because in the past to avoid confrontation and putting my daughter in the middle of an argument I always have given in to do things the way "she" wanted.

I have a teenage daughter who is about to turn 18 next year and she is getting on my last nerves. I am tired of having to take care of her (making food, cleaning her dishes, doing her laundry) because she does not do anything! All she does is stay in her room, sleep and goes on the internet. I think it is because two years ago she was kicked out of high school for not coming to school for a year. I do not know what’s wrong with her and am afraid if I leave her to herself she won’t make it in the real world. She refuses to see a psychologist and basically refuses to get a job or do almost anything. I don’t even think she goes outside! I work full time to make ends meet. The new year is approaching and I do not know what to do.

Stick something up their nose?
They other day, my son stuck a peanut up his nose and I had to take him to the ER to get it taken out. His Ped. tried, but wasn't able to get it so we had to take him to the ER to get it out. It was so horrible, I felt like such an awful parent.

Car Seat Description:
-First is Rear Facing Infant Car seat/carrier that snaps in and out of a pre-installed base. Looks like this: http://tiny.cc/rDx02
-Second is a Front Facing Convertible Todler Car Seat that is not easly removed.

Car Description:
-2008 Honda Odyssey
2nd Row--Two captains chairs and one removable small seat that is in the middle
3rd Row-Bench Seat
Doors--Doors slide on both sides to allow easy access to 2nd row
-To get to the third row seat, you have to fold down the second row seat closest to the door.

Typically I will just have myself and the kids in the car, so I want things to be as easy as possible for loading and unloading the kids. However, there will also be times where I will need to room for 2 other adult passengers. (Both with bad knees who may have problems climbing over seats to get to the third row.)
