I seemed to get yelled at for EVERYTHING. If I forget to clean my room for a day, I get yelled at. If I forget to charge my cell phone, I get yelled at. If I forget to put my coat to the hanger, if don't get up on time for once, if I forget to do the dishes...

I try not to make mistakes, but I always do. How can I learn to be "the perfect" child?

I'm 21, and I felt like this my whole life. Just about everybody goes through it...and BELIEVE ME, when you get older and meet people, you'll be GLAD you got yelled at. I know you hear it over and over again, and when I was younger, I thought, "I'll never appreciate getting yelled/hit for doing something wrong."

But when I got to college, I met people who obviously never got disciplined or enough discipline....now they're failing their classes, getting in trouble with the law, getting drunk every day, etc.

BELIEVE ME! You will appreciate it one day, and if you ever have children, you'll end up treating them the same exact way.

No one is perfect and the imperfection of the person yelling is anger management. You have faults, so do they...one day you will be grown and on your own and none of this will matter anymore.

Of course nobody can be perfect. Write all the stuff that you have to do down so you don't forget.

There is no such thing as a perfect child. However, you sound like you are not organized. Try getting a dry board and writing your chores on it. Then you can check and make sure everything is done when expected.
