I'll be out late, drinking and partying with my three - year - old. Yes, we're going to get completely trashed on sparkling cider and ginger ale. I'm 9 weeks pregnant, so I obviously can't drink anything alcoholic. And Junior has a good 18 years before he can start drinking. The only one to drink champagne at 12 will be Hubby.
We're going to go out to eat (the big tradition where we are is Chinese food on New Year's), and then to a First Night celebration. My son is a night owl/late sleeper anyway, so he should be fine after taking a short afternoon nap.
Happy New Year and stay safe!

That sounds like fun. We are going to have pizza for dinner, and watch movies with popcorn and ice cream tonight. My husband and I aren't big drinkers and we don't want to go out and deal with all the drunk people tonight.

I have 3 children 8, 3 and a newborn. So my children and I are just hanging out and I am actually babysitting several other children tonight- seems like a great idea to make some extra money- from those parents that have lives and are able to get out. lol

I'm dropping by some friends, they're having a if you can't beat them, let them join in the festivities, kid/adults party. I'm just stopping by because everyone wants to see the baby. We'll stay for a little while and get home before the drunks get out in force. I'll probably be snoring to ring in the new year.
