My biological relatives, who I know, did not provide emotional, spiritual or financial support. My adoptive parents provided all of those things. Now that I am older, my biological relatives are pressuring me to spend time with some of the members that I do not like because of their personalities and their lifestyles. They are also pressuring me for financial assistance. Some of them even said I do not "owe" my adoptive parents anything because they are not my blood relatives. Because of these occurances, I am not having any contact with any of my biological family that express or support these ideas. I feel I am handing the situation appropriately but I am wondering what others would feel. What do think? I am doing the correct thing?

I'ved been married to my husband for almost 3 months. I am 6 months pregnant. ever since we told his Step Mother that I am pregnant she has been calling it "her baby". she raised my husband since he was 4 and she has never been able to have any children of her own. She has been trying to take over my experience of being pregnant and having a baby. She doesnt understand what I go through with my pregnancy etc. And his step mom and dad are well off...and she has already started buying baby stuff. At first I thought she was doing what a normal grandmother would do, buy us things for our( my husbands and mine's) baby. But she is keeping it at her house. She bought a brand new baby crib, expensive bedding, expensive baby clothes spoons, bibs, pacifiers etc. She told me I have to pump her enough breast milk to feed "her" baby while its at her house. She wants to be there when I give birth and I dont want her to be. I dont mind her visiting with my baby, but I am the mother. What should I Do?

OK HERE IS THE THING. MY BEST GUY FRIEND AND I HAD A PROJECT SO WE ENDED UP STAYING UP LATE SO I ENDED UP STAYING THE NIGHT AND WE HAD SEX. I HAVENT TOOKEN A PREGNANCY TEST YET BUT I WILL. According to my ovulation, my due date is Dec. 31. The doctor calculated Dec. 28 using his spinner wheel. An ultrasound was done at 10 weeks that said Dec. 26, and another was done at 18 weeks that said Dec. 24.

I know this is kind of a confusing question, but i heard when people are having a pregnancy "scare" And the girl is convinced shes pregnant will all those signs happen? like is it possible to be all in your head? and really your period will just be late?

My 12 year old daughter has recently taken a very bad side to life. First I found two packs of empty ciggerettes and empty beer cans in her laundry basket and then she ran up a $1000 phonebill! And just recently she beat up her 10 year old brother.

I've been thinking and I think I should send her to boarding school. I'm a single mom and I can't handle this. Is this good or bad? And if good, please give me links to boarding schools outside of Georgia. Thanks.

when my husband took my kids and i fishing and my kids were bored so i put a fishing hook with a line attached and put it in the my belly button. i told the kids that i was going swimming and their father caught me and that that is how you fish for people, by catching and piercing their belly button. do you do things like that to trick or entertain your kids? if so, i want to hear them.

my 2 year old sister was sitting on the kitchen counter which was about 2-2 1/2 feet high.
she was playing around and forgot that she was sitting on the counter and she suddenly fell off.
when she did,she fell on the kitchen floor which is not tile,but some kind of plastic or vinyl.
&&when she fell off,her whole body and her head bounced on the floor,sorta like what would happen if you dropped a doll,it bounces.
she cried so much and she was sweating so much that her hair was all wet.
COULD SHE BE IN SHOCK?IS THIS REALLY SERIOUS THAT SHE HAS TO GO TO THE ER?
so after all that happened,she fell asleep..
please give me real answers.

return to sex after giving birth? And what was your situation? I mean did you have stitches? Did you tear? And was the first time painful for you? I had a second degree epesiotomy and a small tear...but the stitches are gone and the tear is completely healed. My bleeding has also stopped. I'd like to "celebrate" the new year with my hubby tonight but am a bit apprehensive. So what were your experiences? Thanks a bunch :)

Fastforwarding a little it is our second anniversary in April and I was thinking of taking my wife away to the hotel where we spent our wedding night. My three year old will not potty train! She refuses!I'll have her potty trained for a couple of weeks, boom back to square one. She's peeing in her potty pants again. We've been on this back and forth thing now a year.Bribes don't work.She started being potty trained as soon as she turned two.Poop, pee, she did it all.For like a month and went back to diapers.I'm so lost!I don't know if I should force it or let it take its course.Madi is very independent, and can be very controlling in what she wants to do.Not only that it seems like a constant battle because she's always sick.Today is 7 days since she pooped. The constant constipation makes her hurt and she hates to sit on the potty when it hurts so bad.Grrr...can this be more simple?I don't know what to do.Wait till she's 4 then push it? She did everything else early.She teethed at 4 months, had almost all her teeth in by 1, she said her first word at 6 months, she ate people food at 9 months.What do I do? Nothing works!

I found out I was with child. Then I started bleeding and having cramps. I went to the ER and they told me it was threatned abortion. The would be father drinks alot. Am I in good reason to believe that him being drunk when he got me pregnant is the reason for our loss???

me and my boyfriend have sex a lot, and we never use protection, cuz we just don't like it. (so suggesting that we need to use protection, or birthcontroll or something won't do any good.) how am i supposed to know if im pregnant, cuz i can't go and get a pregnancy test. are there any signs besides skipping your periods? because i always skip, sometime i skip 3 months at a time, but thats no big deal. so, please help :)

My 3 year old son is pretty thin (unlike his brother who was thick-waisted at this age) and all the pants I have that are the right length for him right now have too big a waist and fall off.

Anyone else have this problem? Can you suggest any brands of jeans/pants that tend towards smaller waists?
