What the hell does a nanny do? I think it is a babysitter who cleans house. but what else?

This could be anything. A tip, a suggestion, or a helpful hint. You know, sometimes there are things that you do not realize could be harmful to a newborn that maybe sometimes people dont know about. Sometimes there are little tips to help make the adjustment easier for you and for baby! Please I am just asking for your one tip that you think that maybe ALL NEW mothers should know. What was your favorite age of your child?( 2, 3. 10. etc)
Lastly How did you come up with names? Naming after relatives or just random names you liked.

i asked this q b4 but people didnt understand wat i ment. im a single mum and was wondering y do men CHOOSE not to be in their childs life.

i have tried my hardest to get my daughters dad to be in her life but he dont want to and none of his family want to either. my daughter deserves better than that. i was 7months pregnant and he just got up and walked out and i aint seen him since.my daughter is now 1

im 18 and married and feel like its time to start a family but my husband isnt quite ready. we dont sponge off the government and he works full time anad i am in college full time training to be a decorator and starting to get work in.

Okay here's the deal... first off I'm not pregnant- yet. But anxious and excited to get pregnant- my hubby and I are trying!

So I'm trying to come up with an idea to tell my parents when we do get pregnant. First I was thinking i'd make a cute card with a picture of a positive pregnancy test on the front.

But then for a Christmas gift from a relative I got an Old Chicago giftcard that came in a mini pizza box. I saw that and thought it'd be cute to say something cute on the top of the box and then they'd open it and see a pic of the pregnancy test. I'd also write something cute in the inside... my only idea is for the inside to say, "your order is in and will be delivered in 394,200 minutes (8 months)" or something like that... but i don't know what to write on the outside!

Do you have any cute ideas that I could write. I know the phrase "Bun in the oven" is possible to use too. Help me! I would love some ideas... thank you to those of you who answer realistically! Thanks!

i have a friend who's husband doesnt like her mother because her mother used to beat her. I just learned that my bf's mother used to punch him in the face etc. when he was younger, from 7 years and up. I already dont like her because she is conniving and condescending. He is a moma's boy and we have a kid together, is it wrong that knowing this makes me feel even more uncomfortable having my child and myself around her?

My baby is 5 month and half now and I'm still not getting my period yet. I'm still breast feeding my baby and some says that might be the cause. I should be happy for the fact that i'm not getting period, but at same time little worry. And if that's the fact, how can I tell if I'm pregnant?

Hey there Mommies and Daddies =) I am in need for a double stroller. I currently have a 5 month daughter and now 2 months pregnant. I dont need it right away, but just want to inquire. I saw a double stroller where its kinda front to back, but the baby in the back was low, like where the basket suppose to be. Ok My Ex Had A Baby And I Am Told It Is Mine But What I Dont Understand Is I First Slept With Her In April 2007 And The Baby Was Born October 2007 And The Baby Was Born The Size Of A Full Term Baby And Went Home Next Day And Is Healty And Has Been Healthy Since It Went Home. I would like to get an ID card for my 4 year old son. Just seems like something that would be good to have. He is gone every other weekend with his non-custodial father and I would like to have an ID of him with picture and info, should the need ever arise. I live in Texas.
