I pinpointed the exact day/hours i ovulate. I can feel when it happens along with cm and basal body temps. According to the shettles method, when is the best time to have sex to try for a boy. How long before I feel the pain or how long after should we try?

I mean seriously don't people realize the problems kids bring (financial, social, etc.) to your life? Are there people out there who live in their own little world and don't learn from other people's hardships? Does this just show that most kids are unplanned?

Is it "normal" for a woman like me who has always had regular periods to have one of her periods late, and be lighter, and on and off for 6 consecutive days. Could it be a sign of pregnancy or just something ubnormal. (Note: I was having unprotected sex for the last 2 months, I'm also taking a preg test at a clinic today, but I'm trying to avoid it because I'm nervous to go).....

My great grandma crocheted my baby a blanket....the problem is she smokes like a chimney. I don't want to ruin it but it really needs to be washed (probably more than once).

I guess setting up an FAQ section would kind of be the antithesis of what Y!A is all about, however, if there was an FAQ, what would you add to the following:

Am I pregnant?
Can I get pregnant during my period?
Can Pre-*** get me pregnant?

This is a copy and paste from a parenting board, when I read the story it upset me so I thought I would spread the word and share this sad story.
A friend of mine lost custody of her son this month in a custody battle and now a group of blogger moms want something done about it and have set up this blog http://bloggingforjustice.blogspot.com/ . Please read and spread the word.. post on every blog/msg board, etc.. you are able to so we can help CJ and her son out!! There is NO reason for her son to be taken from his home. One of the reasons this 11 yr old boy was pulled from his home is because the Judge thought that CJ had enough on her plate with her two adopted toddlers with Down Syndrome at home(arghhhhh). Please read and spread the word. This is such a sad sad story and something really needs to be done about it. Her son now calls home everynight crying saying he wants to go back HOME.
Is it me or does any one else think the system is messed up?

I know this couple that has their neice in their custody because, the childs mom is into drugs. The lady has had like 2 or 3 chances to do what the judge ordered her to do but, she had not do it. The couple goes to court somtime in September.to get full custody. If the mother gets a lawyer what are her chances of getting the child back? She is also pregnant with a second child while she is in jail.

I recently had to have emergency exploratory surgery following a tubal ligation gone bad. My mother-in-law brought my very young children into my ICU room while I was still intubated! I'm furious that she thought it was appropriate for them to see me like that. During my hospital stay, on two separate occasions, she said to me, "I knew B.K. should have been the one to get snipped. It would have been an outpatient procedure and none of this would have happened." She also mentioned this again three days after I was discharged from the hospital. I recently found out that she said the exact same thing to my mother the day it all happened! I was literally moments away from death and she thinks its cute or funny to say things like that? I just don't get it. I'm terribly upset about the whole situation. Am I over-reacting? Should I say something to her? If so, what to say and how to approach her in the first place? I fear that its too late to say anything, but I am truly upset.

She is 17 and is pregnant. She wants to keep the baby but her mom wants her to get an abortion. Mother says she will kick my friend out of the house if she keeps the baby. Plus her mom is racist and the dad is a mixed guy, so she really doesn't want my friend to keep it. Now my friend feels aweful and is saying that it might be for the best if she got rid of the baby. How can I convince her that her mom can't legaly make her and that she should keep it if she wants it?

Our 7 year old daughter begged us for a baby sibling. She spent months reading about baby care, even before I got pregnant. When I got pregnant, she was ecstatic! Now her baby brother has finally arrived, and she seems so sad...
She has helped feed him and burp him, and she seems to like him and being with him, but both me and my husband think she seems depressed and uncommunicative. Tonight, I wanted to talk with her and she asked me to leave her room. Anyone have any idea what could be the problem? I am very upset to see her so down.

Me & my wife have been trying to get pergnant for a year & 9 months now & we just seem to not be able to for some reason at all. What might the problem be? Someone I know said that it might be because she might need medicen to get her sex drive up so that we can get pregnant. Could it be a hormonal embalence that is keeping us from getting pregnant?

Hello!

I had my las period July 20-24th. My cycles are usually anywhere between 35-37 days.
On August 17th my husband made love and didn't use a condom. I have taken several tests over the past couple of days and all were negative except for a couple evap lines.
Is it still too early to get an accurate result? Could I have been ovulating on the 17th? I have had some mild cramps but otherwise nothing. I usually have bad PMS symptoms but this month I have been in an overall good mood. I am however hungry all the time. (but it is still too early for that to be a pregnancy symptom correct?)

All I can say is that if I am not pregnant I am definitely going to begin charting. The not knowing is killing me!

Thank you all in advance for your help.
