Hello!

I had my las period July 20-24th. My cycles are usually anywhere between 35-37 days.
On August 17th my husband made love and didn't use a condom. I have taken several tests over the past couple of days and all were negative except for a couple evap lines.
Is it still too early to get an accurate result? Could I have been ovulating on the 17th? I have had some mild cramps but otherwise nothing. I usually have bad PMS symptoms but this month I have been in an overall good mood. I am however hungry all the time. (but it is still too early for that to be a pregnancy symptom correct?)

All I can say is that if I am not pregnant I am definitely going to begin charting. The not knowing is killing me!

Thank you all in advance for your help.

If you're pregnant, you should probably be getting a positive result by now. However, if your period doesn't start, keep testing yourself every two days. It's possible to be hungry that early in a pregnancy, but most likely it is because you think you might be pregnant. If you're not pregnant, then when your period starts, count from day 1 of the period until about day 12, then have sex with your husband every two days until about day 25. That would give you the best chance of getting pregnant. Hope it works for you.

Based on your cycle times, it is the time when a test should work. The earliest time to test is 5 days before your expected period and you are already there so, if you have tested more than once and they are negative then you are probably not pregnant.

Usually you ovulate 14 days before the beginning of your next period so that means you should have been ovulating during the 10th through the 12th.

Go to the doctor and get a test it's not to earlier for a doctor to know. Home test aren't that good.

If you see a second line you're pregnant. Wait until you're late for your period and test again.

wait a week and test again. or go to the doctors and get a blood test, they'll be able to tell you same day.
