omg, you won't even want to stand up for a couple weeks! You definitely want to wait until the Dr gives you the ok. Your body needs time to heal. You don't want to be working out and bust out all the stitches - both the ones in your uterus and in your skin. That would be very painful and messy!

My dr. cleared me after about 6 weeks. But I couldn't do strenuous exercise such as sit ups, jogging, etc until about 4 months after. every once in a while, I still feel a little pain when exercising.

My doctor told me 3 months because you need more time to heal with a c section and time for you incision to heal too
6 weeks is only for natural births

most doctors require that you wait 6 weeks. Check with your OB because everyone is different

When you are cleared by your Dr. to resume normal activities. Then take it slowly, let your body be your guide. Remember you have to take care of yourself to care for your bundle of joy. ;)
