Well I was just eating lunch today and I was daydreaming, completely off with the fairies I was! And anyway I thought of the name Alyssa Jean and fell in love with it! I know I will probably forget about it or change my tastes before I have children but what do you think of it for a baby girl? Rate it out of 10 and comment?

Thanks in advance!

Hi my baby is 3 months old and i am mix feeding her with formula through the day (with the odd breast feed) and exclusively breastfeeding at night. she is now starting to go almost all night without waking for a feed so i thought now would be a good time to stop breastfeeding. i know it is the best thing for my baby which is why i have done it till now but i am back to work shortly and will find it hard to nurse whilst working. Also i am conserned as she wont settle until she has my breast when she is tired so i am worried she will be really upset and unsettled with the child minder (my mother in law). so how do i stop without upsetting her (she wont take a dummy) and without having painfull breasts. Also what formula will be best for her. i live in the UK and she currently has Farleys first but i noticed that this is cheaper and less popular than the other formula's, should i switch and how do i do that. My baby is very healthy at present has gained weight really well from birth.

Take a look at this question and some of the answers.
I just don't understand why some people are so certain that babies still need milk after one year, but it shouldn't be breastmilk because it's gross and creepy. I'm not criticising anyone here, I just really want to know why people think it's : inappropriate, gross, creepy, wrong etc...

I'm 26 weeks and have not felt them yet. I'm not worried, just curious about other women's experiences.

I didn't know until recently that it's become a trend to celebrate "adoption day", or "gotcha day". What do you think about celebrating the day someone was adopted?

We never told anyone about the boys names until they were born, safe and healthy!!
My friends and family had a poll happening about what names we would choose. They got it so wrong!!! hehe!!

We have picked our daughters name, but am struggling with another boys name. I want to tell people, but I like keeping it a surprise.

How about you

You could pronounce it "EYE-rihs" or even "EE-rihs." I prefer the second pronounciation.

My fiance and I have discussed naming our children after family members. Particularly, we would like to give our daughters middle names based on the names of our mothers.

His mother's first name is Ruth and her middle name is Ann. I tend to like longer middle names, so what do you think of combining them into Ruthann or Ruthanna? Is it pretty or does it sound like you are just saying Rosanna with a lisp?

Bonnie Ruthanna Grey
Lily Ruthanna Grey
Moira Ruthann Grey

My fiancee and I are getting married in the spring, i'll be 21 he'll be 22. We really want to start TTC as soon as possible, on the other hand we would also like to wait until we have a little bit more money saved up. We're not in debt at all but we don't have any savings. Everyone i talk to says to wait at least 2-3 years after we're married to start trying. I would also like to start TTC as soon as possible because i would really love my grandma to see her great grandchild. She is 79 and is going downhill fast. I could use some advice and life expierences from you guys, thanks so much!

I'm about 5' 8'', and weighed 135 lbs before I got pregnant (people always told me I was alittle bit on the skinny side). I'm 8 weeks pregnant, and I've only gained about 2-3 pounds, but I already look like I have a little belly bump!!! I know women who have had multiple pregnancys show early, but this is my first. I never really exercised besides alot of walking, so it's not like I have strong, fit ab muscles to keep me from showing. But I have a noticible bump that resembles my tummy when I've eaten wayyy to much. And my hip bones arent as pronounced as they used to be. Could I really be showing already?
