me and my husband have been having un-protected sex since April 2007 and still no baby?! Is it normal? I mean we have sex atleast every other day. Someone told me about this tea called Lydia Pink that she bought in Mexico and she got pregnant after 4 years, so are teas good? I DONT KNOW..my hubby is in the Navy and he leaves soon, and i would love to have a baby

I really have two. They are my Japanese nicknames given by my Japanese mom's side of the family. They are Masato and Ryouma. The other ones I just make it up for fun like Saber, Lightning, and Merrimus.

Masato meaning correct / elegant man.
Ryouma meaning dragon-horse and name of a legendary Samurai named Sakamoto Ryouma.

You may have read my other question about a name for our unborn daughted - due in April. We have a teacup poodle in the house. My mother in law says the dog has to go when the baby comes because it's unsanitary or might hurt the baby.

After I became pregnant she has tried to run my life! Thank God she doesn't live with me.

What are your thoughts on this?

I'm pregnant with my first child, due in April. We just found out a couple of days ago that it's a girl! Her daddy and I are so excited! My husband's name is Bryan Travis.

The baby's paternal grandma thinks her name should be something somewhat old fashioned, her choice - Lillian Faith. The baby's aunt likes Alaina Travis (just straight out giving his middle name to her). I know it's up to me and Bryan in the end, but i'm curious as to what combinations for our baby's first name can come from his first & middle name.

Any ideas for a first name from his name? Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

I know to many this might sound crazy... I really do want my baby to have breastmilk but do not feel comfortable with the idea of breastfeedign many moms disagree with me, but I have tried gettign my mind around it and still no sucsess. Please don't give me grief over this name, It is my daughter's baby that is due in about 4 weeks. I have no infulence over the name.
They are wanting two middle names becasue their other daughter has two middle names.

Okay, a little background info. I have twin 7 year old stepdaughters named Hayley & Heather and an 18 month old daughter named Chelsee. When we found out the sex of our now TWO DAY OLD baby (i'm a proud momma sorry), my husband and I decided to let them name her. So we decided to go from youngest to oldest. Our 18 month old wanted to call her Mimi, Hayley picked Alexa, and Heather picked Kortney. So our newborn baby's name is Mimi Alexa Kortney.

My mom says i'm stupid and the baby should have a wholesome name not a trampy one (she wanted her name to be Mary Alice and wanted Chelsee to be Tabitha Anne).

Do you think letting our children name their sister was crazy?? Is Mimi Alexa Kortney really such a bad name? We wanted our children involved.

What are your all's opinions on this?

I was given the First Years baby monitor as a shower gift but it has such bad reception and is contantly going through batteries( i have to replace them every morning!) and it has really bad feedback i have woken up every morning with a headach because of the buzzing! both my sister and I are pregnant i got the name for my daughter it's going to be Sadie Arabella. She is naming hers Adelina she wanted to name the baby Adelina Renee Carter but her hboyfriend hated the Renee part so she asked me for suggestions. My 22 month old son is still nursing and I am planning to let him self-wean. I find though that despite the recommendations of the World Health Organization and countless studies... most women don't nurse this long. I'm just curious to see how long other mothers nursed their babies. And why did they nurse for that length of time?

Is there any way to get rid of cradle cap, or atleast diminish it? I have tried special lotion from the Dr, creamy baby oil, olive oil, neosporin, cocoa butter.... nothing seems to work very well! Any suggestions? Ty!

I suspect our daughter has croup, she will be visiting her ped tomorrow morning and is resting well now with the cool mist humidifier and one bathroom mist session. I was just watching one of those stage mom reality shows...it was boring but nothing else was on. Anyways while they were showing these girls (ages 2-12) in the competition I was shocked when I heard one of the moms say there was a swimsuit competition. I was expecting these little girls to come out in a one piece bathingsuit with little duckies or barbie on it or something but these children were wearing pink and white two piece bikinis...WTF!!?? Its about that time that I noticed that the crowd watching these "pageants" were made up of the parents of course but also a bunch of random guys who seemed to be there by themselves. Does anyone else see a problem with this?

I like the name Rose for the middle but that won't work because of some hubby's family issues (lol) so I was peaking around looking for a different middle name. I thought Madison because I love that name too, but don't want it as a first name since it is so popular. I don't like Olivia for the same reason. I love the name Ophelia and I'm not sure what her nickname would be, but I myself don't have one and that's perfectly fine for me! And if she absolutely hates that name, which hopefully she wouldn't, at least she'd have another pretty name to use.
