Please don't give me grief over this name, It is my daughter's baby that is due in about 4 weeks. I have no infulence over the name.
They are wanting two middle names becasue their other daughter has two middle names.
So, please no more comments about Miley the real one who plays Hannh Montana. I know it all.

Firstly, anyone who is giving you a hard time should get a life, regardless of celebrity attachments it is actually a nice name. Miley could be Mylee, Milie - with the accent thingy over the e. Middle names Jade, May, Tia, Joy,.... I could keep going. My Son is Three months old, before he was born a had a list of girls names into next week and only a couple of boys names. Good Luck tp your daughter, and congratulations to you on another beautiful granddaughter.

First off I love the name and wanted to name our daughter Miley Raye after my grandma who passed away before I was born, but my husband said it was too "country"...
Second off, in regards to "Miley" Cyrus thats not even her real name, but a nickname derived from being a smiley baby... so its dumb for anyone to say not to name her that for that reason when its not even Cyrus' real name.
Myleigh is a cute alternate spelling, I like that or just plain Miley.

actually i loved the name when i first heard it and she spelled it Maille. i think. it was about 5 years ago so i dont quite remember. i thought it was beautiful and still do but overall the spelling of the name got me stuck because i dont like that its not phonetic enough. perhaps your daughter will like the spelling tho. since miley ends with an EE sound...a name that ends with an A sound would be nice. and the following name with a consonant ending like :
Olivia Nicole, Ava Elizabeth, Lora Grace
