i had sex about a week ago, and i was wondering, if my egg got fertilized, before implantation, can it just come out? because i had this white stuff come out (sorry i know, TMI =( .
and im scared that its the egg!!!

I have met quite a few adoptees online and IRL who are in reunion with their biological families but have not let their adoptive parents know they have found them. I let my adoptive parents know I had found my nfamily within hours of my discovery.

I guess i would like to know the reasoning behind telling or not telling your adoptive family about your reunion.

Ok, my parents are going on a trip for 2 weeks. My grandparents are supposed to be watching me since none of my other relatives were able to. I'm supposed to be going to a party on New Years Eve at my girlfriends uncles place. I guess you can call me a cross-dresser since I wear girl clothes. My grandparents are against it. My girlfriend wants me to wear the dress she got me for Christmas to the party and so does everybody else. I'm not even sure my grandparents would even let me get out of the house let alone letting me go there in a dress.
What should I do?
By the way, I'm 15.

This is my second baby, and my first was all natural with no problems. This one is taking a bit longer and being a pain! lol

My doctor says she'll strip my membranes on Monday...anybody else had this done? What all is involved? Does it work? Does it hurt? My cervix is far back, and it's extremely painful just to get my cervix checked...does this mean it'll be painful? Any experience would be helpful!

How understanding is your family about your older nursling?

My son is 13 months old and it seems like I am starting to have a bit of trouble getting family to understand that he is still nursing and will not be spending nights over or have extended periods of time away from me. They keep making "suggestions" of giving a sippy of water or cow's milk(have not introduced cow milk to him at all) and seeing how long he will go. When I say that is not a good idea, they will just smile that "Oh, the over-attached mother" smile. Ok, while I am attached....he is definatley attached to nursing and will not stay away from me long. But they just don't seem to get it....sigh...

How can I get it through their heads that overnight visits are not going to happen right now?

has this strange habbit
she will lay on her stomach but her hands between her legs
cross her leggs and go up and down :S
im a bit worrid mum says its a thing she will grow out of but researched it onlne and it said she could be disturbed or something

My sister is 18m/o and does not sit still to have her diaper changed. It will sometimes take two of us to do it. One person to hold her still and the other to change her diaper. She will not lay down to have it changed and will run away. I have tried giving her a toy to play with, being firm, being totally relaxed, everything. About half the time she will allow my mom to change her diaper but otherwise it's the same thing. Any advice?
Oh and she is not ready to use the potty yet. :)

My daughter is going in for allergy testing on the 3rd. She is 3 1/2 and I am very apprehensive about it. Can anyone share their experience taking a toddler/preschooler for the testing? I know they will do a scratch test but do they really use restraints? I am very uneasy about that. Also, should I give her tylenol beforehand? Thank you!

As I was touching my 8 month's old forehead today I noticed it is so much softer than mine. I mean it almost felt like i could sink my finger in it... is this normal?

It almost feels as if her forehead is "pudgy". Yes, she is a chubby baby but can she have fat on her forehead? LOL, i know this sounds funny but I'm wondering...

I'm 40 weeks pregnant and had a dr. appt. today. No dilation, only 50% effaced (for the past 3 weeks) and have NO contractions. What does this mean? Will I need to be induced? Has anyone been in my shoes before? Help, I'm very worried that I'm not making progress.

I've seen some posters to Y!A openly trolling for babies, which sickens me on many levels. But I assumed that was the extent of the behavior. Recently, I was horrified to learn, in a private email from a young pregnant woman, that when she asked a question here that referenced her unexpected pregnancy, she received 12 private emails from strangers offering to take her baby without going through proper channels. She said she's heard from other women in the same situation that it's a common occurrence.

How widespread is this problem? Are pregnant women getting targeted for this sort of illegal and immoral behavior simply because they've posted questions and/or answers here?

I can understand why families had more children in the past. They needed children to work on the farm and they had more health problems that could lead to a death of a child. But in this day and age there is no need to have more than 2 children. When you have more than 2 children, you have less quality time to spend with each child. I guess those parents (with more than 2 children) choose quantity over quality.

Why do people have more than 2 children?

ok, i have a friend , who wants to do weed. and now is. he got high on christmas eve and day. and all of christmas break. and he has a "big load" for new years. and im scared he is going to do something really really really stupid.
