He is a total sweetheart and cares about me but he wants to go into real estate, not medicine like my parents like and I'm afraid they wont let me continue dating him because of that? His mom is trying to get him to continue in the medicine field.

Also, he is moving to NJ soon and that doesn't mean our relationship will end but if im going to be 18 then ( I'm 17 now), then how can i let me my parents let me go visit him?

I have never been a morning person and I'd like to change my ways! I own a business (someone else runs it) so I have absolutely NO routine. I have a 7 year old (who my husband gets off to school every day) and I have a 2 year old who I bring to daycare (I own it). So, please...do you have any tips re: being a better morning person. Also, I want to have more routine and structure in my day...any suggestions to help get my life on track and start the new year off right??

my 7 month old daughter has been sleeping through the night since week 1. She used to go to bed by 830 and sleep till 8...now the past week she has been crying like crazy....like really hard at night when i try to put her to bed...and i cant get her to stop...she just wants to be up all of a sudden...then when i get her up she is so grumpy like she is over tired...but wont go to bed tilllike midnight. i dont know why...i try to feed her ( i am still breast feeding) and she will eat for a few seconds then pull away and start crying and keep doing that over and over like she isnt getting any or doesnt want any or something...and also im not sure if she is constipated....she poops like maybe once a day and it is just a small poop ball that smells really realy bad if that means anything haha...i dont know..im a first time mom and just want to know if anyone had this problem before....thanks so much!

been ttc for 2yrs...i missed my period and 6 days late,i had spotting for 1 day only (brownish)...my abdomen was very heavy and sometimes i feel tired...it's my first time to experience this that's why i'm worried and excited(that i could be preggy)...could i be pregnant or just my period is coming?thanks!!!

i've recently found out i'm a month pregnant and its my first kid so i'm not to sure of what exactly to expect. People keep telling me to walk alot and that will help the pregnancy be less difficult when its time to give birth. i am willing to do anything i can to make things easier so where should i go walking that is going to be best for me and the baby. How long should i go walking, how often? and another question. what would be the best things to eat during the first trimester while i'm nauseaus besides crackers.

My daughter is 14.5 months old and for almost a week now she's been getting up in the middle of the night screaming. I know she wants us to come get her and put her in the bed with us so we made the mistake of doing that just once and now she's been waking up every night. Last night we tried putting her in her bed and letting her cry it was terrible it took her almost 1.5 hours to fall asleep she screamed and cried mommy the whole time. Is it possible she'll do the same thing tonight? What should I do? Also, I'm pregnant so this really is wearing me out.

My 19 month old son doesn't talk at all... He grunts, babbles, and whines.... I know that he can say some things, like "hi" "bye" "kitty" and "inca" (the name of one of our cats), and watching Dora one day he said "swiper", but I can't really get him to use them. He doesn't even try to use them... usually to say bye bye he waves and says muh muh.... he's smart, he understands things perfectly, and his hearing is just fine.... is there a reason he won't talk? He points to things that he wants, and tries to communicate... could it be because he isn't really around other kids his age? We're thinking about putting him in day care for a couple days a week, to socialize him a little more... we just moved to a new state and we don't have a doctor here yet, so I can't ask them.... anyone else have a similar problem? Like I said, he knows words, he just won't use them. He also doesn't associate "mama" or "dada" with us, just uses them as babble.... and we work with him all the time.

He has been sick with a "flu like illness" according to the doctor. Yesterday when he woke up he was dry - and stayed that way till about 1pm despite drinking. he took a really long nap and was still dry and is dry again this morning. he does use the potty but usually tells me to come with him. He is acting fine, just like normal but this urine thing is really bothering me.
i am a nurse - not a peds nurse though- and i may be getting ahead of myself with this- i dont want to take him to the er only to wait for 5 hrs just to have him pee right before the doctor comes in but on the other hand i dont want him to be in kidney failure either.

Ok, so my last appointment was on 12/26 and I was at 38 weeks. This is my second pregnancy, with my first I was induced at 3cm 60%. I have horrible pressure and can hardly move, sit stand, walk, get dressed or do anything. I have contractions every 3-5 min. and they are about 30 seconds to a min each time. The doc said my contractions are not thinning me only dilating me. Is there anything I can do to try to maybe speed this up a bit or help it to move along?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
