well maybe you could go to your DR. and get some fertility pills.
or you could ask you husband to go to a sperm bank and get some sperm out so while hes gone and if u still have no baby you could still use his sperm

It depends. There are a lot of couples who don't get pregnant right away. Sometimes it can take more than a year, or longer. It can be totally normal. It could also be that one of you (or both) has a medical condition that is stopping you from getting pregnant. The only way to find that out for sure it to go to a fertility specialist and get checked out. I think it's probably a little too early to panick though. Maybe, just maybe there's a reason that you're not pregnant yet. Everything happens for a reason. Why would you want to go through pregnancy and possibly birth alone though, while your hubby is away? I wouldn't want to do that, and that's not something your hubby should miss either. So there may be a reason that you're not pregnant. Besides, it's been proven that stress (which can be caused by desperately trying to get pregnant) can hinder the person's ability to actually become pregnant. So don't stress, just let things come as they come. If you're not pregnant after a couple years, then think about a fertitity specialist.

trying not having sex so often, seems ironic, but store it up a week before ovualtion and then have sex everyday for 4-5 days surrounding ovualtion to make sure the your eggs are getting quality sperm and not worn out semen!!

After you have sex, lay with a big pillow under your butt/hips without getting up for at least 30mins to allow the swimmers to get where they need to go.
Make sure you know exactly when you are ovulating by tracking temps (too hard I think) or using ovulation predictor kits.
If you still haven't conceived in a month or so and hubby is due to leave soon then I would go and get him checked out (sperm count and mobility etc) so you know exactly what the problem is (if any) and can deal with it as soon as he gets back rather than waiting around for another few months. If its not him, then while is away you get checked to make sure there aren't any underlying problems with you (if any).

Best of luck

yes it's normal it can take a fertile healthy couple up to a year to conceive.
be patient, worry about not getting pregnant can effect your fertility.
I've been trying two years so i know how hard it is, i have pcos so i know it's hard, if you have not conceived after a year see your doctor, {allow for gaps where your not trying these count}, some doctors won't help until you have been trying two though.
good luck
