I like the name Rose for the middle but that won't work because of some hubby's family issues (lol) so I was peaking around looking for a different middle name. I thought Madison because I love that name too, but don't want it as a first name since it is so popular. I don't like Olivia for the same reason. I love the name Ophelia and I'm not sure what her nickname would be, but I myself don't have one and that's perfectly fine for me! And if she absolutely hates that name, which hopefully she wouldn't, at least she'd have another pretty name to use.

I love Ophelia, and Madison, but depending on how long or hard to pronounce your last name is, that name could be quite a mouthful, especially for a small child. How about Ophelia Rae or Ophelia Lyn? Any way, If you chose to name her that I really doubt that she would hate the name (it is very pretty), and doesn't really need a nick name, but if you were really desperate, you could call her Maddy ;) Good luck, and I hope this helps you!

Ophelia Madison sounds a little strange, probably because Ophelia is literary and romantic while Madison is cute and trendy. Have you considered using a different one-syllable middle name? It should sound as good as Rose, but hopefully your husband won't object to it. Here are some suggestions (I have starred my favorites):

I think its okay to have a non-nicknamable first name. Ophelia could always go by Lia, or she could go by her middle name.
