Would you be mad if you found out a cousin, or a friend, or just someone close to you 'took' a baby name they knew you've always loved and planned on using?

I recently found out that one of my cousins that I used to be close to had a baby girl not too long ago (congrats to her) and she named her exactly the same name I've always wanted.
Everyone knows this particular name is my favorite (b/c well I've told everyone) and I dunno.. I know it's kinda selfish, but it just ticks me off that she would do it.

How would you feel if the truth were printed on birth certificates of people who are adopted? That is, how would you feel if the full names of the biological mother and father, and the full names of the adoptive mother and father were on the birth certificate? My daughter ( step ) is 5 yrs old and tries to stay up all night every night :( I have been raising her since she was 8 months old soo this is part my fault !! i started drinking my morning coffee again 4 days ago. i only drink 1-2 cups in the morning. the first 2 days she was fine but yesterday she was up all night and she's been up all day today. she's 4 weeks old. she keeps acting like her stomach hurts and she's really fussy even when she's in her sling and she normally loves her sling. she's been spitting up every time she eats and her poop changed from the mustardy yellow color to a darker brown. she has her checkup tomorrow and of course im not going to drink anymore coffee. is this a normal reaction to caffiene or is it something else?

Ok, I'm possibly facing a delima here. I'm not even sure if I am pregnant, but I need to get my head on straight for if I am. I've talked it over with my boyfriend, and we've come up with three options. Should I:

1. Abort
2. Have the baby and keep it
3. Have the baby and give it up for adoption

There are plus' and minus' to all three. I really don't want to go with abort, but I'm scared of what my family will think, plus the financial strains. That, and I have college January 10th to go to.

Suggestions please? They would be much appreciated.

im 19 weeks pregnant and i have had trouble working for awhile now, i have had bad back problems before i got pregnant however they haven worsened to the extent that i am finding myself leaving work after 2 hrs... i manage a clothing store so my job is on my feet all day, i used to be able to pop some valium and carry on as some what normal but now obviously i cant. i need to use a wlking stick when im not at work and most days i have trouble rolling out of bed. my real problem is that i cant afford to not work and have sick days as i have no realiable staff, the stress of hiring and firing is again way too much and i just dont know what to do. i dont feel sick its a mobility problem and i dont think work understand.....

I need to find instructions, preferrably in drawing, of how to teach children to put their coats on by laying them on the floor then putting your arms in and flipping them over your heads!! I know motessori school teach this for independence.

What are the best items that you can think of for a baby? Obviously I know a car seat...but what can you think of as far as great products go that just make life easier? I do plan to breastfeed so I dont need bottles and that stuff. Thanks for help.

i started my current cycle on dec 8. on day 3 of my cycle i started on femara for my polycyctic ovary syndrome.on day 13 of my cycle i went to the dr and had a ultrasound done to check for eggs in my ovaries. on day 14 i started using home ovulation test.on day 14 and 15 of my cycle i only saw the control line on my test. on day 16 am i noticed a second light pink line. i tested again day 16 pm and noticed a little darker pink line then in the am. i tested day 17 am and saw a pink line that was a lil darker. again day 17 pm i tested and the line was lil darker but still not quite as dark as the control line. on day 18 i tested in the am and the second pink line was the same as the control line. i tested on day 19 am and the line was getting lighter. my question is that since i know i ovulated this month how long after the surge can i test to see if i am pregant.

my son is now 19 months old, he wears pull ups and tells me when he poops, and he will tug at his pull up if he pee pee's. Is it to early to potty train? I would like to try but I don't want to if I will mess him up by doing it to early. What do you think?

I'm only 17w 4d and have a flat belly...but have been looking around to see what kind of clothing i will be wearing once i start showing. I looked in all maternity stores...and in old navy and all the maternity clothing i saw was all flowery, pastel colored, cutsey wootsey, un flattering and un trendy. I really like the glam and bohemian look and still want to dress like this. i dont understand why the designers of maternity clothes think we want to dress all cute just because were pregnant...mabye we still want to dress stylish and not change our style all together. does anyone know where they sell trendy maternity clothing? glam maternity clothing? bohemian maternity clothing??? i was thinking of just shopping at a plus size store but i dont like lane bryant or torrid...

I was ovulating on CD 19.
On CD 25 (7 days after ovulation) I did the blood test for progesterone level.
My doctor said that my progesterone level is 19.
What is that mean?? Is that a good sign??
When i was ovulating i had intercourse, and I have not gotten the period yet. I'm hoping that i'm pregnant.
today is my CD 33, My doctor said that on CD 35 if you don't get the period and check the pregnancy result.
My question is:
1. What is that mean the progesterone level 19??
2. When can i do the pregnancy test??
3. Will i know that i'm pregnant after 16 days later from the ovulation day??

We have been together for 2 years and he is 19 and I will be 19 in 6 months. We live in an apartment together and we have been thinking about this for quite some time. We are financially stable enough to have a child, and his grandparents would move up to this area to help watch the baby. We have been thinking about having a baby for about 3 months now, and he just proposed to me, and everything just seems to be working out perfectly. I want to hear everyones opinion about this...I know its a lifetime commitment. I know what im getting myself into.
Here are some reasons why I cant wait much longer:
*My dad wont be alive for too much longer and he has no grandkids
*my bfs great grandma wants to live to see great great grandkids but shes not going to live much longer
* I want to be closer to my kids' age so we can have extra bonding

Those aren't all the reasons, but they are some. What is your opinon on this?

I got my period on december 24th and today (december 27) its been on and off, it ended this morning and so me and my fiance decided to unprotected sex (TTC). Maybe about 2-3 hours later, my period started again, but was very light, but also heavy every few minutes. I had this great big cramp on my right side and then suddenly alot of blood flowing out (sorry to be NASTY). When i went to the bathroom, i found out it was a huge chunck of blood. (sometimes i get those but they arent usually that big) I was just wondering if thats normal. Thanks, and im very sorry for being very "detailed" haha
