I was ovulating on CD 19.
On CD 25 (7 days after ovulation) I did the blood test for progesterone level.
My doctor said that my progesterone level is 19.
What is that mean?? Is that a good sign??
When i was ovulating i had intercourse, and I have not gotten the period yet. I'm hoping that i'm pregnant.
today is my CD 33, My doctor said that on CD 35 if you don't get the period and check the pregnancy result.
My question is:
1. What is that mean the progesterone level 19??
2. When can i do the pregnancy test??
3. Will i know that i'm pregnant after 16 days later from the ovulation day??
Thanks for your answer....

I checked it on CD 34 it was negative.
On CD 35 I got period.
So that's mean that my egg was not succesfull united with the sperm??
or I got miscariage??
How is miscarriage?? You know that you are pregnant and suddenly come out the period?? OR You test (over 14 days past ovulation) and come out negative and then you get period???
Is somebody understand how it is work??
PLEASE... Thank you so much ...

Your dr wants your progesterone to be over 10 if you were unmedicated (taking something like Clomid) and if you were medicated, then over 15. My progesterone level (medicated) was very high.. I believe it was 27.. the nurse figured I was pregnant.. but I was not. I've heard other women say they'res was unusually high and they weren't pregnant either. Its usually if they are taking an ovulating type drug such as Clomid.
If today is CD33 more than likely a HPT would show if you are pregnant or not since you are 14 days past ovul. Especially if you get a First Response which detects it 5 days early~You could get a negative and still be pregnant, but I think it'd be highly unlikely. But if you wait until your dr. suggested, by then I'd say you could definately rely on the results. GOOD LUCK! *** BABY DUST ***

Doctors want to see a progesterone level over 16 when a woman becomes pregnant. Maybe this is your month. Levels are usually somewhere around 8-10 after ovulation, although can be high as 20 but that's unusual, when conception has not occured. I'd take a test tomorrow morning. Both times I got a positive before my period was due.
