Thats actually the best time to try and get pregnant. And sperm can live in the body for 3 or 4 days SO even if you didnt have sex when you ovulated exactly, there's still a good size window. With my first, I had sex the day after my period was over and was pregnant, so you never really know. My second one, (the one im pregnant with right now), we timed it exactly 2 weeks before my period and got pregnant the very first month of trying.

It all depends on your particular cycle. Every woman's cycle is different and you might not ovulate 14 days after your period starts. If you want to get pregnant (or even if you don't), I would recommend the book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It teaches you a lot about how your body works and will give you ideas about how to increase your chances of getting pregnant or decrease your chances, depending on what you're trying to do. I have PCOS and expected to have a hard time conceiving, but we were successful on our first attempt and now I'm 20 weeks pregnant.

everytime you have sex, you can assume there is a 100% chance. to have unprotected sex twice is just stupid. use protection or suffer the consequences. you are old enough to have sex, then be mature enough to handle the results. it doesnt matter when you have sex,how close it is to your period. the risk is always high, and your body is unpredictable. your cycles are probably not regular. get the morning after pill, Plan B. you can be ovulating at anytime, because its not regular unless you are older. everytime you have sex, the sperm is made to go straight to an egg. every time is a huge risk.

Even when sex is timed perfectly for conceiving, your chances are only 25%, if you are under 30, any given month, Although FYI, 2 weeks before your next period is exactly when you are fertile.

Go to any pharmacy or planned parenthood if one is near you and get the "morning after" pill. Make him pay for it; it will cost about 40-50$; it is way cheaper than having a baby to raise. While you're at the pharmacy or planned parenthood, get a bunch of condoms! Remember how you feel right now and never ever have unprotected sex unless you are ready to be a parent!

You never know exactly when you ovulate, and sperm can live inside of you for up to 5 days, so yep, it's very possible!
