yes himliech i was talking with my 4 yaer old and typing at the same time i know you cant use it on an infant because it will hurt or kill them i cant make it to a cpr class i have no daycare and they do not allow children

Your best bet: call your local hospital and sign up for a class on this. They are sometimes free and well worth the time. I am overdue to get recertified. This question reminded me I need to do that!

Take an Infant/Child CPR class. You DO NOT do the Heimlich on an infant or child under the age of 2. You can do serious harm to their body by doing so!
