Only 5 wks ago and u r already running about? When i had a c-section, i couldn't even sit up by myself till 4 wks later. I had to hold my tummy to walk because it really hurt badly. I only started to walk normally and do stuff only after 2 months. Ur gynae should have advised you to rest and not take care of the baby yet. I suggest u see ur gynae to get that infection treated. A c-section is a really big operation, you should know that ur organs were moved around while u had ur baby ( i heard that from my relative who's a nurse). I also know someone whose stitch opened up because she was too hard on herself.

I started doing everything right away too. but I healed really fast. and it healed really good. I never had an infection. butttt.. my mom did. anddd.. it was just because of the way the skin layed. it didn't get enough air. but, I'd definitely go to the doctor, if you haven't already. her's got so bad, it had to be surgically removed. and they had to cancel another surgery to get her in, because if they wouldn't have, she'd have lost all her reproductive organs.

Can you stand strait up yet? That is when I started doing everything again. At 5 weeks I was already back to work.

You had major C -section which is a major surgery.
Where is your friends, family, the father of the child? You needed to take it easy.
Shame on you for not taking care of yourself.

Slow down NOW.

i didnt take it slowly either after my 3rd c-section, i have stairs in my house so i was constantly up and down them and was back at work for a few weeks only at 2 weeks after my c-section, same with my second c-section,probally not a good thing though.
