Well I was just eating lunch today and I was daydreaming, completely off with the fairies I was! And anyway I thought of the name Alyssa Jean and fell in love with it! I know I will probably forget about it or change my tastes before I have children but what do you think of it for a baby girl? Rate it out of 10 and comment?

To YoungWiseMex, it doesn't really matter. I was just bored and wondered what other people though of this name I find truly gorgeous.

I like the Alyssa part....but not so much the Jean part. Maybe Alyssa Jane would work better! Hope That Helps!<3

I would give it an overall rating of 7. I really like Alyssa but I am not a fan of Jean.

I really love Jean because it is a family name for me but Alyssa feels really dated to me. I give it a 3 out of ten. There's just nothing really special about it.

I hate the name Jean, my old boss was called Jean and she was such a drone..anyways, Jean is very masculine. With such a pretty first name like Alyssa, a little princess would need a pretty middlename like Alyssa Rose or Alyssa Sky.

It's just ok for me. I knew an Alyssa who was a complete brat, so that sort of ruined the name for me (I always picture her when I hear it). Jean is ok, I don't love it or hate it.

10- Its a great name cute for a child sophisticated for an adult and Alyssa Jean is a great combination!
I think in the future it wouldn't be a bad name for your daughter.
