No. Nearly ALL miscarriages in the first trimester are due to chromosomal abnormalities, not anything you or the father could have prevented. Development just stops and a miscarriage results. It's very common in the first 12 weeks.
I'm sorry for your loss, but it's not your fault, nor is it the father's.

No, honey, it wasn't anyone's fault. I had 2 miscarriages and my husband and I dont drink. It is one of those things that happen, usually it is nature's way of ensuring that when you do deliver a baby it will be a healthy one. Please take care of yourself and you can go on to have a healthy baby.

umm no, sometimes these things happen, this baby wasnt meant to be, its not his fault, why would you even say that? that is rude and hard to grasp. him being drunk when you got pregnant has nothing to do with you miscarrying, i am sorry for your loss, but its def. not his fault. nature took its course.

I had a threated abortion because of my blood type, I think you need to do some research before blaming anyone, if it can be blamed on someone, and if you really feel the need to blame. Sometimes these things just happen, and pointing fingers may just make it worse. Remember that you made the decision to sleep with him too.
