What do you think about the name River for a boy?

River is a nice name... whether for a boy or a girl... reminds me of the tv show firefly and the movie serenity, one of the heroines is named river... works still for a boy... it's actually catchy and unique...

Thats an interesting name. Unless he becomes famous (cos famous people make everything 'trendy') I think he would resent you as he gets older for all the teasing he would go through his lifetime.

I really luv names like that. For a boy it sounds cool but, i don't agree that its good for a girl also. I plan on naming my daughter Kris, which is unisex, depending on how you spell it. i think that there are so many people with the same names and it kind of boring,it will be a good twist!
