I have been experiencing right side pain at the lower abdomen since I am 4 to 5 weeks pregnant (I am now 5 weeks). I think it is somewhere around the tube or ovary. could this be ectopic? The pain comes and goes but it wasn't unbearable pain, and there is no bleeding. Does ectopic pain starts at such early stage? Does the pain comes and goes or will it be always there? Does anyone experience this or have such information? Do help. Appointment is not due until 6 weeks...

with an ectopic pregnancy there should be very little bleeding at all and the pain should be to one side or the other. the pain usually shows up between 5 and 6 weeks. after 6 weeks the fetus will grow too large for the tube to accomodate it and that is the point at which it will burst. i would suggest going to the doctor as soon as possible. since it is a holiday that may be hard to do, maybe you should call your local emergency room and see what they say, they may or may not be able to do anything for you but you should definitely seek out a doctor before your 6 week appointment.

I had etopic, and I didnt even know I was pregnant. Until my mensus came heavily for 2 weeks and feeling weak, saw a doc and admited immediately for operation as the bb was already 6 weeks. No pain at all during that time, except for a unbearable sharp pain at lower tummy occurs before I see the doc.
The pulling dull pain you feeling around the ovary or tube, might be due to tightening of the womb. Best see doc early to confirm the egg sac is in the womb.

My sister in-law had one and she was in bad pain. You wouldn't even be able to stand the pain. She had to be rushed to the hospital.

I was getting this too but my doctor said that if its comes and goes its probably not eptopic. If it stays and gets worse it could be.
Also when I went for my scan the sonographer said that my right ovary (where my pain seem to be morel localised) had some bleeding on it which indicated that that was most likely the ovary the egg was released from but it wasn't a bad thing.

Some pelvic pain like period cramping and the like is very normal especially in the first twelve weeks when the uterus is expanding at a very quick rate. The ligaments surrounding it are also stretching and it can be a little uncomfortable. I wouldn't worry about it if its not too bad or enought that you would even need paracetamol for it. Use a heat pad on it for some relief. If it gets worse see your doctor

i had light menstrual cramping on and off for about 3 months. its probably just normal cramping, there are alot of things growing and stretching. but if it gets really bad i would go to the ER just to check it out. Good luck

Please go to the doctor ASAP. It could be so many different things. Please don't risk your life or your baby's life by not checking into it.

I think you should call your doctor and try to get an early appointment, I had an ectopic pregnancy and I started experiencing pain since I missed my period and also started bleeding it wasn't red blood it was brown and also not enough to fill up a pad, and I ignored all of this until I passed out one morning and after getting me to the ER I end up loosing my left tube, so please try to go to ER and if you have an ectopic pregnancy you can catch at early stage....hope everything will be fine for you

pain on your rightside could be appendicitis. I would get checked before your appt. I would call your docotr or if the pain gets really sharp or it hurts when walking or jumping up and down go to ER.. You don't want your appendix rupture.

Ectopic pregnancy symptoms vary so greatly from woman to woman that you should go to a walk in clinic if you suspect one at all.

Pain can start very early and while there are many "common" symptoms, some women experience very different ones.

Some women report pain in their shoulders, pain like period cramps, no pain at all, neck pain, pain near kidneys.. please go to a walk in clinic.
