Well the obvious has already been said but if you are going to stay then if it were me I would be telling him "If you do you better think of two things happening, "A Jail Cell and Divorce"! A real man won't hit and would never think of such a thing even in anger with his wife or girlfriend! Just my opinion and good luck with whatever you decide.

maybe he's one of those 'caveman'. he'll get u married, knock u over the head with a wood stick and take u into his cave for some baby making time. lol. JUST A JOKE

but seriously- tell him- u may have to hit back and take some self defence classes (u can probley find someone whos taken them already to show u for free) to prove it to him that you won't be knocked around if u want to stay. if u think he may hurt u- leave now. trust me bruises on ur face aren't easy to cover with makeup nor is trying to make up stories on how u got them.
DO NOT let a man hit u. If it should happen- put him to the ground with ur newly learned moves and keep him there till either the police show up or ur brothers/dad/male cuz''s show up and show him whats what.. When you fight back- that will usually deter them into trying it again cuz he knows u won't take it anymore

or u can leave him before anything MAY happen.

He is on his best behavior now but it sounds like once you are married he will think of you as property just as his house or car are. This is the time to find someone new. Anyone who loved you would not say that even as a joke! The abuse centers are full of people who laughed something like that off only to find it it was true and they end up in a shelter to get protection from the guy. find someone better for you!!

Very bizarre that you would even consider marrying him if he says that he may hit you after you are married. Marriage is a contract not ownership papers. Kick him to the curb; don’t wait to find out if he will hit you or if you decide to have children, he may think he should hit/beat them. Children need discipline (but not to be beat), spouses need respect (to include not being hit), no one needs to hit (unless you are a boxer or something to that affect).

Why is he still your fiancee? And if you marry him is it ok for him to hit you? if not why are you marrying him again? Tell your fiancee once you guys are married you may stab him while he is sleep and see how he likes that! LOL

What? Don't agree to marry anyone who thinks he has the right to hit you because you're his wife. Let him know NOW that you're not going to tolerate that. I'd be leery of a man who thinks that violence is the way to handle a wife.

Unless you KNOW he's really going to change - and I mean REALLY - get out now while you can. That is a deal breaker.

If he says it, he has thought about it and it is only a matter of time. Call the whole thing off, unless you want to get hit. If/when he does actually start, he won't stop.

For him to even say that means that he dont respect you. Without respect the feelings he may say he has for you are nothing.

My advice. Dont stick around. Dont ever give him the chance to hit you or hurt you in any way.

RUN FOREST RUN!!!

Then you don't marry him. You cannot marry someone who has already threatened you.

Sounds to me like he is wanting out of the engagement but does not want to be the one to break it.

Good Luck

Leave now. That is absolutely ridiculous. He "may hit you". Yeah and I may break my foot off in his @$$ if he tries. A real man would never raise his hand to a woman, you need to find a real man and drop this douche.
