We both have kids from previous marriages. We always seem to be fighting about money. He spoils his kids and refuses to give me or my children anything. He earns far more than I do and just won't understand that I can't contribute more than I do. I have never asked anything of him, yet I feel that he could sometimes buy me clothes or other expensive things. All my friends' husbands spoil them.

If you and the other person were both carrying on a lie, what is it now about that person that makes you trust them enough to want to have a long-term committed relationship? I'm curious (p.s. i'm not having an affair and not the victim either).

she knew he was with me & that we had a little boy together & still proceeded to mess with him. She got pregnant, but he got back with me eventually. She would come slice my tires, busted my window out of my house, attacked me when I was 8 months pregnant and this crazy list goes on. When him & I split up she would always let him stay @ her house and then she got pregnant again! I know-very crazy!!! So, now that he is with me & we are happy, she wont let him see the kids (even though he pays child support) she alwasy acts like she's the victim @ refuses to let him be a father, but gladly takes the money. I TOTALLY understand that he's crazy for even messing with her also but we are in family counseling-we have two sons now & I feel it's worth fixing if he is willing (which he is). So I'm beyond that. I think about the big picture & whats best for my boys. I just dont understand where she gets off acting like she has been done wrong? She knew about me and my kids from day one.

I found out that my husband had secret e_mail accounts were girls/women were writting to him. He's been telling them how beautiful they are, sexy and all that stuff that me i don't get to hear.I'm just 25years old and were've been married for almost 5years.He aslo posted many prifile's on love sites seaching for women .I don't know how far this was going to go on if i didn't catch him.The problem is when i asked him why he was doing this he gave many reasons like he's doing it for fun and his workmates do it.He aslo raised up issues from the past, things that i thought that he had forgiven me for.
What happened was that before we got married(still going out)i was abused by a man and it seems like it was all my fault.I told him this when we were already married(3 years).i was scared to tell him this because i didn't want to loose him.Anyway ever since then my relationship with him is no longer good.So he tells me sometimes that he can find better than me, and all other nasty stuff.

Ok, you're bored, you have an affair and things seem great to the point where you want to divorce? How long do you think the greatness in the new relationship will last? Do men think that far ahead or do you think their tri-pods get in the way of normal brain functioning? Just wondering---I'm not having an affair and no, I'm not the victim?

We are a united family, we dont drink, smoke or do drugs at all. I kind of understand this as a stage in his develpoment, but sometimes it gets so hard to deal with him. Besides, my wife seems to take sides with him, in other words, I'm ALWAYS the wrong one. What to do?

I lost my mom two years ago. 9/11/05 to breast cancer.. I was 15 at the time... Yes I was torn when she passed, but it wasn't like her death was a surprise. Six months before, my mom was incapable of moving that we sort of lived living without her help. I live with 3 other guys in the house and although none of us really get along, we tried our best to be happy in my mothers eyes; for its wat she wanted. Many people now see me and have always asked me if I'm doing fine; I tell them I am and they think Im lying or some crap like that. It's as if because I don't cry when they talk about her, I'm tryin to say to others that I really dont think she died at all or that im hidin all my true feelings.. I dont cry, one because in my house of men, there really never was reason to. Two, because me as an individual, I don't feel like emotion should overcome a certain situation.

Anyway, wat should I do to let others know.. I'm FINE.

My husband had an emotional affair that ended several months ago. We have been going to counseling and things have been going well except for one major issue...trust.

He wants to go out with "the boys" and typically in the past I haven't minded, but I feel an impending doom this time. I don't trust him. I know deep in my heart he isn't seeing her anymore nor do I think he ever slept with her or even kissed her.

He has done nothing to help me regain his trust and when we talk about it, he says "either you trust me or you don't".

How do I get over this?

Before my husband and I got married, I told him that I did not want children (for many reasons). I made him understand that he better not marry me thinking I might change my mind later. He said he understood and that he was cool with my decision. He said he loved me, and that was all that matters.

Well, life happens, as it always does, and I've just recently had to have a 2nd abortion (trust me, I'm not happy 2 different forms of BC failed me in the past, but I will say that I'm glad the option is there for those of us that had accidents). Anyway, after having a serious discussion with my husband, he let it slip that this last pregnancy had him thinking. The idea of having a baby with me, his beloved wife, would have made him happy. Now, he's not sure how he feels about us not having kids.

I love my husband. I'd give him the world if I could... but I can't give him this. What do I do with this information now? Wait until he decides he needs kids and leaves me?

And in case you are wondering, I managed to convince a doctor to give me the Mirena IUD. Hopefully, the double whammy of and IUD plus hormones, while illuminating human error, will keep any more "accidents" from happening. Trust me, it's not for lack of trying that I'm getting pregnant folks.

A guy invited me out. We had a decent time. He called an hour later to say it was fun. Then he invited me out again. And again. Each time, he'd call and he enjoyed himself. I invited him out. Then called to say it was fun.

The next time I invited him out, he said he wouldn't have a free weekend for two weeks because of work and classes. He emailed me saying the dating scene in our area sucks and where would be a good place to find the one.

I don't hear from him for two weeks. Then out of nowhere he sends me a random text last Saturday night saying, "I am officially a tennis fan!" Then I don't hear anything else from him

HUH?!

How do you suppose that we enforce rules and responsibility without being able to spank or yell at a child. Time out, grounding, take things away, not buying them things that they want? Come on these thing don't really work? at least not in my opinion. But then we all gripe about the kids getting worse in this day and time! Whats wrong with a butt woopin' every once in a while (ages 4-11)? What are we supposed to do after this age? CPS says we cant spank or yell at them. But when they dont stay in the room, walk out, laugh in your face, and do what ever the hell they want to do. What can we do as parents in this situation? what do ya'll think?

I got into a talk about this with a friend of mine who is currently has a white girlfriend. I told him I won't date a white woman and it's not because of anything I have against them, but because I believe in black families. I believe that with all the damage that's been done to black families in history, it's important that we have strong, healthy black families to build better black communities.

He wasn't really seeing my point and after talking more with him about why he's dating a white woman, it became more clear to me that he's one of the many black men I believe date white women simply because they are a trophy....it's a social status thing. These black men see dating a white woman as "dating up". And they flaunt their white girlfriends when they go out to the clubs and places.

For you others out there, especially African-Americans, do you think this is real or just in my head? And is it a problem?

my friend is getting married and her colors are turquoise, white and bronze...the colors are very shimmery(even the white..very pretty) as far as decor goes..she wants candles or lights that give the illusion of flickering candles cuz it will look good with the fabrics and matching decorations color wise but where do YOU personally draw the line between decor thats beautiful and color coordinated to way to much going on, tacky, too matchy matchy?

also she has an idea the place she wants to have the reception..does the staff at the place do the decorating or does she hire someone seperate to do that? its in a ballroom of a country club

another question..is it ok for her to hire an outside caterer even though the country club has a kitchen staff that usually does functions? she comes from a large puerto rican family and she wants some of the food to be very culture oriented and wants someone else to do it other than the C.C staff

Hey

Ok. So everyone's asking the same basic questions:

Does that mean he/she likes me?
Guys/girls what do you like about girls/guys?
What did he/she mean when she/he said...?
I cant talk to the opposite sex. Any tips?
Why can't I get a boyfriend/girlfriend?
How do I get/give better sex?

Do you ever just think your insecurities with "love" would all be solved if you WEREN'T worrying about this love?

Just take a moment to think. What would your life be like without the stress and worry of another person and their coveted "unknown" feelings?

Do you really want love?

I've heard women prefer the bad boy types and to an extent this seems to be true. I've never been a bad boy , but these guys eem to succeed with women more that I do. I'm not going to change myself but is there a way a guy who's a nice hopeless romantic like me can succeed.

it is definatley his baby as we knew she was expecting but was told that she had had a termination, my son is in the navy and is based in scotland, she was a bit older than him, (he is 23) and he told her he wasnt ready to be a dad, she obviously couldnt go through with it and now wants him to have the option of getting to know his daughter. I cannot contact him as he is a sub-mariner and is at sea till the end of November, but what do I do in the meantime?? Do I get to know her and be a part of her life, (as I am her grandmother after all) knowing that it will be impossible for my son to visit regularly, even if he wants to, which I dont know yet. She is my first grandchild, (I'm 43) the ex girlfriend is now a single mother of 2, her other child is 4 and I am at a complete loss as to what to do for the best......help!!

My wife works and she is workaholic. She had miscarriage for 3 times because of work. Finally blessed with baby girl, I wanted her to take care of the kid and enjoy at home. I have hired a care taker, cook, maid etc. She wants to continue work. She does not tell me reason why she need to go for work, upon insisting she said she need to work for financial stability, That was not problem for us. Then she said she need friends I said for that reason she need not spend long hours in office. She likes work and she enjoys it. She wants to send my daughter to my in-laws place which I don’t like because we need time to spend time with our daughter. We are having difference of opinion. I focus on personal relation and happiness, she focuses on work. How do I convince her?
