Sometimes ya just can't figure people. You had several nice dates, but for me it's typically one. I can't tell you the number of times I've had a really nice first date with a guy, he seemed to enjoy it also, appropriate "thanks again" contact soon after, and then that's it...no more dates, contact either ends or is cordial at best afterward.
*shrugs* Some people just don't have good social skills. If you start something and decide it's not for you, the least (general) you can do is wrap it up properly and let the other person know "thanks, but no thanks".

I don't know if the guy you are decribing is being nice, but he sure sounds like he is not mentally balanced.
Tennis fan?!? What the heck is that got to do with you two dating? Does he think he is going to get with Maria Sharapova? LOL

I am not a guy but I suggest not trying to figure any man out... (or woman for that matter).
I just think, he's not that into you...
If you like him - i think u are barking up the wrong tree and look for someone else who is interested!

Because girls don't seem to like nice boys, the bad boys get all the action. Face it, girls give much more interest in the abusive and disrespectful guys, and the nice guys can't get a date. Maybe that explains why so many guys turn bad?

Honey....RUN! This guy does not know what he wants. Find a guy who has a little better communication skills and is interested in YOU.

Sounds like he wants to do what he wants to do when he wants to do it, and if you want to come along for the ride, you'll be doing it on HIS terms.

It's not an act, he is a d*ck. Remember the adage, "You are what you eat."
