I resently had a baby and my baby`s father is refusing to see her, and he wont pay child support. I just turned 18 and I do attend school, I am a freshman at a local University and have to pay for my tuition. I hate to fall into the sterio[sp] type, a ghetto teen mom when i`m not. I am an educated young woman who made a mistake. Its getting really hard already to have both things on my sholders. My mother is really unsupportive and my baby`s fathers family is convinsed that my baby is not his baby. I don`t know what to do and how I should go about this whole situation. What advice can you offer me? I really need it.

i mean, i get c's and b's but they don't let me do anything! all i'm allowed to do is read, do homework, and study. we just got a wii, and i'm not allowed to play it! Every day i start to have them more and more, but they just keep punishing me, no play. TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!

Ok, your a 12 year old girl/boy and your mother/father says "We are going to have lots for fun tonight, on New Years Eve!" When you home, your mother/father says "Let me just close my eyes for 10 minutes". When you go to wake them up after 10 mintues, they say "5 more minutes". Then pretty soon, their asleep like a rock and you have to spend The New Year all by yourself. What would you do next?

Soon we will be moving into a new house a few suburbs away from our old one. Im really upset about it because i feel so attatched to it since i've grown up in it and i cant imagine other people living in it. My mum and dad say we are moving for more room but yet i still seem to be upset about it. I dont think they understand how i feel and when i've told them they just tell me its not my choice. Iits gotten me into alot of fights too.

So is it normal to be upset? Is it not as bad as i think? Is there anything i can do to feel better? Should i be helping out as much i can? Has anyone felt the same way i do?

I have secretly been meeting my biological adult son for months now. He is very stressed as his adoptive mother is by nature a very cold, bitter, angry person and has tantrums when he even mentions anything about me, I've not pushed the issue , and been very supportive to him and don't say anything negative about his adoptive mother but it's killing me to see him stressed, what else can I do? I'm so afraid we are going to get caught and I'm sure there will be a scene.

So today's New Years Eve, and all I wanted to do was hang out with my friends at a new years eve party. The person's house I'm going to is a friend of mine. Her parents are making everybody's mom/dad call to make sure that they are allowed to come. What so wrong here. I don't understand what the big deal is, it's not going to be a keger, just come friends. I know this sounds like a cliche, but all my friend's parents let them go. I can't wait till I go to college, then I can finally do whatever I please.

I'm 17, a responsible teen, I get good grades in all AP (advanced placemen) classes, I go out and come home at a reasonable time. why don't they trust me?

while my man wanted me 2 spend da nite with him at his older brothers house and i had ask my mom and she was like no and he was going 2 bring me back home 2 morrow afternoon cause on wednesday he hads 2 return back 2 work. then he had came over here 4 a little while and me and him are moving in with each other on february 20, 2008 so that we can do what we wanted 2 do, and then she was like he might get pregant and then she was like yall might as well just wait till ya move in with each other and i had told him i was like i will be glad when we moved in with each other im am 23 yrs old and she is treating me like im am 5 or 6 yrs old and how many days are left and till febrauary 20 o8.

For the last three months, my family has been rather mean and thoughtless - nasty on my birthday, rude all the way to Christmas, and not including me in their plans. Now, on New Year's Eve, they assume that I am going to spend time with them, when there were no plans made. So I encouraged the shocked duo to go with my parents to a friend's home for a games party - and I am breathing a sigh of relief. It feels good to know that someone (namely me) cares for me - I've been putting myself last, and not liking what I've been seeing and hearing. Should I care that no plans were made, or that they assumed and never included me in any plans - especially after their recent treatment?

I have posted questions sorta pertaining to this same subject b4. I am 23 years old and havent lived with parents for years. They are seperated and my 11 year old brother gets flung from parent to parent. Neither one of them really does their part as a parent and I know they can... they did a good job with me and my sister. Anyway I feel the need to step up and teach him stuff, I know its not my responsibility but my parents are more concerned with getting their rocks off so to spea k. The problem is when I keep him for days on end he wont mind me and how I am going to get him to when no one else trys to make him mind. This is so hard for me! My mother in law first off does not like me because I stole her son away. Well now I noticed that she treats me 15 month old son like crap. She never lets him play with the other kids toys saying he will break them but they can play with his. She yells at him all the time and he is just a baby. She has only seen him 4 times and all the other grandkids she sees all the time. She bought all the other grandkids tons of stuff and told us she didnt have that much money for christmas. What should I do? I really dont want this lady around my child. I got treated like that by my grandparents and hated going to see them. You can defiently tell who her favorite grandchild is and her least. My son will never be good enough for her. I really want my son to have a grandma but not if she is gonna teat him like crap.

Im 13 btw and I dont know what to do Im really upset. My mom calls me names like B**** and Mother ****** and all the bad names is the book. She screams at me and hits me. She says im a piece of Sh** and omg she makes me feel really bad. She smokes weed and i hate her for that. One time she couldnt fine something and she treatend to kill me. I am very concerned with my daughters behavior!!

My daughter is 20 years old and she has been acting VERY funny the past 2 days.

We went on vacation up to Boston and my husband acted very immature. He got very angry and left my daughter and I stranded up in Boston with no car or no way home. My daughter and I were forced to take a plane ride home from Boston back to New York City. She was supposed to see her uncle who was dieing of cancer that day but...because my husband left we were forced to leave and find a plane back home and were unable to see her uncle.

Since we've gotten home she has made NO EFFORT to see my husband or I. She said things were going to change and I believe she may have meant it. She hasn't been coming home until 1:00 A.M. and is gone out of the house by 9:00 the next morning She doesn't talk to my husband or I at all. The only thing she tells my husband and I is she's going out and who she is with. She used to be very open with us as to why she was upset or what not now she tells us nothing!

I have been dating the same guy for the past year (on january 4th). About 5 months ago he moved to another state (about 5 hours driving and 45 minutes flying time) I have been flying back and fourth to spend time with him since he's been gone. I was having to lie to my parents about where I was going since they dont approve of me dating a guy who is 7 years older than me...I'm 20 and he's 27. Its not a big age difference, but they dont understand and they are so caught up in their own ways and like to be controlling of everything I do. Anyway, they found out about everything I had been doing and how I've been flying there all the time. For New Years he bought me a plane ticket so we could spend it together. I went to the airport and my dad was there waiting for me. I have never been yelled at like I was. He started yelling & throwing things I thought he was going to hit me. I need to get out of this house, but dont know how to go about doing it. Please Help and please offer advice!

hey i need to know how long it takes for dead person to start geting cold at room temp like 60 to 65 in a house trailer cause my mom past away on the 23 of this month and my dad said he found her at 8 in the morning ,but when i got there she was still warm to the touch
but the one who pronoce her dead said time of her passing was at10:30 am so can it be he did fine her at 8 am and her still be warm

My wife is ill w/ a nueralogical disorder...has been for almost a decade. I moved her to my home, away from her parents, four years ago. She's always telling how wonderful it would be to be back home. That's OK, I've finally decided that it's time to sell the house and go back to be closer to her parents and siblings. The prognosis isn't good and I want her to be close to the family. BUT...when we talk about making plans for a move, she's all of a sudden hesitant. People, I don't know which way to go! Do I just do it because I think it's best, or let her decide? We're in our late thirties, and very much in love. Truth.

I really want to run away from home because:
1) I am immature
2) I am incapable and naïve
3) I do not get good marks in school
4) I make my parents upset and disappointed
5) They are disappointed in me and I cannot turn back to correct the mistakes I’ve made
6) I’m pretty stupid and I cannot handle life.
7) I am a burden to my parents.

I do not care if I survive. I think I will make my parents happy if I do this. Tell me a place I could run to.

have $12,000 dollars in the bank .Money engough to pay my bills for 1yr but not pay for other things I need - like a roof for my house and my property taxes ( which are around $2,000 per yr.)

- I got fired from my job, my ex left me pregnant , I have a son already .So I will be in need of daycare big time.

My mother thinks I should go back to school and not get a job now but later after I get out of school.
I think I should get a job and go back to school in the spring.

I would have about a 1yr + 1/2 in order to get any kind of degree.

Which do you think is the best choice for me financially speaking?Who is right?
