My wife is ill w/ a nueralogical disorder...has been for almost a decade. I moved her to my home, away from her parents, four years ago. She's always telling how wonderful it would be to be back home. That's OK, I've finally decided that it's time to sell the house and go back to be closer to her parents and siblings. The prognosis isn't good and I want her to be close to the family. BUT...when we talk about making plans for a move, she's all of a sudden hesitant. People, I don't know which way to go! Do I just do it because I think it's best, or let her decide? We're in our late thirties, and very much in love. Truth.

Well i believe you guys should move and be close to her family. If not and she is deceased before you move, her family will be resentful to you for not moving her before. Ya know? She cannot make up her mind so it is up to you to decide for her and do what is best for her. I commend you on that.....:) Just do all the details and not worry her a bit. Make sure when the time comes to do the actual move that you tell her then. Just don't worry her with all the details. She will be fine.......GOOD LUCK :)

Her illness or medications may make her hesitant, is she seeing a doctor she trusts? Moving and the work it entails is an enormous undertaking for even a healthy woman. It must seem daunting to one who is ill.
Talk to her, about how she feels about moving, about how she feels about her illness, about changing doctors. Once you have this information, and you have opened the doors to communicating about this, you may have an answer.
If not, you decide.

Wait til she knows what she wants to do. If she is hesitant there must be a reason. Talk to her doctor and ask him what he thinks because he understands this more than you or we do.
