What you should do is exactly what your parents ask of you.
When you put this into regular practice, your parents will begin to notice that you are behaving more responsibly, & will trust you more.

Nothing u can do... just be thankful that u have parents who love you. We parents worry when our kids are out after dark... no matter how old they get

I'm 17 and I'm not allowed to do anything and i have to argue just to be allowed to hang out till midnight usually i have to be back at 10 which is embarrassing. I got invited to a bunch of New Year parties but i wasn't allowed to go to any of them. I've never done anything wrong and when i was ten minutes late one night i got grounded for the week. When i get bored i keep a list of all the rules my parents have!!! I am one of the most trust worthy and kindest people and still my parents won't let me do anything! I even do stuff around the house without being ask.

You don't need to be out tonight. There are too many idiots out there that are drinking, and stupid enough to get behind the wheel of a car. And don't think it wont be until later, they are already out there.
Go and read this, look and the pictures, and the man that did this, walked away with minor injuries! And if you still cant understand why your parents don't want you out, well I guess you will just have to get over it.

Your already 16 which means that you are entitled to your own decisions. What i would recommend is having a serious conversation with them and telling them your point of views. If you are still unsuccessful and you cannot understand where they are coming from i recommend you move out immediately or wait until you are 18 and move out.

IF you find this method too extreme, make some guidelines that both of you would agree too; for example extending the time you get to hangout in order to help your parents with housework or something.

Hope i helped.

Turn 18... soon as you can.

Not much you could do. I am not 17 or anything but my parents sheesh, I completely know how you feel. But they are parents so we gotta listen to them. Don't go screaming your head off about fairness, all you get is a lecture. Try smoothing down things (try your mom first, moms are softer) then go for it. Good luck
