ok, so there are these 2 girls, and we were all new last year. the 3 of us. and we were all sort of bitchy to everyone in our classes, (bad move, of course) and now i stopped being friends with them before summer started. they wanted to annoy me for dissing them, so they prank called me like, 3000 times, until i started ignoring them instead of answering and coming up with alot better comebacks than theirs. now, one of them, is in all of my classes save for 2. the other one is in 3 or 4. it's really annoying, and i really just want to stop hating them, because it's alot harder to do than like someone, but they don't seem to be making any move towards trying to be nicer. any ideas on what to do? and if you suggest talking to them about it or being polite in the hallways, ill cybersmack you. i've already thought of that, it doesnt work.

My partner's grandmother is in her eighties and really spiteful. I have never met her.

She hates me (although she's never met me) because I am 11 years old than him. When we met all she did was tell him to dump me, I was too old for him I was a bad influence blah de blah.

She was furious when he did not do as he was told and kept sending him letters referring to me as "that person" and "that woman" and urging him to get rid of me and get a girlfriend of his own age. He begged her to accept his choice of girlfriend and to meet me and give me a chance and she refused. "That woman will never cross my door" she declared.

When she was told I was pregnant she went ballistic and apparently said "I hope she loses it".

When our son was born she was furious (as she was hoping I would lose the baby) and declared she would have nothing to do with him or me.

So our son is 10 months old now and has never seen her. I find it very hurtful. Why is she like this?

seriously everyone, i need to get back to work and focus on my JOB!! I work from home but now i've discovered Answers I am addicted. It's like I've found a new friend (several actually).

i am a management consultant , I get paid for the work I complete and deliver to my clients. But I am finding it so hard to stay off Answers. Even the thought of not getting paid sooner rather than later doesn't detract me.

If my life wasn't so complicated i wouldn't need to seek advice from strangers. Yep, I'm addicted.

i'm going to miss you all but I need to get off.

Ciao friends!!! XXX It's been fun.

Am soon going to get divorced and to take my mind off it i have joined a hobby class where this married girl of my same age (late 20s) also comes. Last week she asked me to drop her somewhere and i did (i give lift to many people in my class), while getting off from my car she asked me to come to her place sometime for coffee and i told her i will. Everything seems fine till here.

The problem is i often find her taunting or laughing at me, staring at me then looking away etc in the class that makes me feel uncomfortable. Now she has asked me 3 times before on similar occasions to come to her house for coffee (i guess in her husband's presence).

Now, should i accept her invitation to seem polite or just ignore it? At the same time was she just being polite to me for dropping her or am i reading too much?

We work together as decorators and he has just been on a nice holiday to Portugal problem is that he has spent my wages from the last job we did.
This unfortunately means that I cannot feed the kids, pay the rent and travel to work to earn some cash. Talk about up the creak without a paddle.

Okay, maybe you don't realize that you're presenting yourself as a sexual object. Yeah, you have the right to *Flaunt It* and ALL men have the right to look. You can't decide who can look at you but you can control what they think by controling what they see. If you don't want so much attention to yourself, tone yourselves down instead of making yourselves up.

What do you think? I'm in love with a woman whose completly amazing. I want to give her everything i've got but the fact that she's having another mans child worries me. Not so much the child but the part where the ex is still very much trying to be with her. I know that she wouldn't cheat on me, but I still don't like or trust him. I dont want my girl to think that I dont trust her, and I definately dont want to lose her. I want to marry her.

My mother and father expect too much from me. She doesn't know the meaning of life nor my father and brother. My brother says: ''It would be better if your dad kills you and i should rest in peace, you haven't had a taste of my father's punches." They constantly find fault with me, overexpecting and demanding.

& that your "friends" are so because they either feel sorry for you, or know that your a good person even though they can't stand you much?
When I talk to people, they always seem to be the ones to get up & walk away after a few minutes.
I know I have psychological issues about it cos as a child, if I met a new friend, my mother always told me not to worry if they didn't end up liking me, or that they were probably just using me for some reason. I know she did that cos she felt she was protecting me but it has left a lasting impression where I find it difficult to believe that anyone really likes me.
The problem is, although I know that, it still always looks like people want to get away from me, end a conversation early, or look like they are just humouring me because they think it's rude to just leave prematurely.
Everyone has a "friend" who is irratating who you want to avoid...could I be one of those people?

My boyfriend just found out that while we were broken up (during one of the many) 3 months ago I had sex with someone, they wanted a relationship but I didn't. It was just sex. Where as just 2 weeks ago he was totally "in love" with a chick he met online, saying "I'll love you forever, you make me happy!" and he was going to move to Japan to be with her..

To me its easier to have a one night stand than to tell someone "I love you"..Because I mean it when I do, it was a mistake on my half and I thought I already told him but I guess not! He flipped out and demanded I gave him a ride home or he'll walk (this is at 4:30am at my parents house for the night to add..) He ended up walking.
He said I lied to him, but I never did I thought he knew, and when just now I realized he didn't know I feel so bad..I wanted to explain to him but he threw it in my face how "easy" I am. But yet he can so easily say those words to any person? ONLINE? he's never met?
Whats your opinion?
What do i do?

I've been friends with this girl (very social condfident) for a few months already, not sure if she likes me or not but her behavior is a little odd to me.When we meet our conversation is good but she feels as though i'm hiding something like i'm not sharing everything bout my life. We normally call each other to go to the gym to play basketball, have dinner afterwards. I've never gone out with her to a bar when she's invited me because it's just not my type of setting. But she wants to observe me in different settings other than at the gym. One of the things that kind of scares me in a way is that she analyzes me and makes me feel like crap about certain things (i.e., small complaints, she feels our conversation is redundant and wants to talk about something else and wants more input from me). She feels as though our relationship is stagnant and has not gone anywhere.I can't read her but what are her intentions, why does she put effort into observing me and being straightfrwrd bout it

My mom and I were talking about weddings and for some reason this came up. She was telling me that when one of my aunts was getting married she bought her wedding dress, left it at the store for alterations or something, but when she came to pick it up she noticed someone was trying it on. She's very vocal and made it known she was mad. How would you feel if that was your dress?
