We work together as decorators and he has just been on a nice holiday to Portugal problem is that he has spent my wages from the last job we did.
This unfortunately means that I cannot feed the kids, pay the rent and travel to work to earn some cash. Talk about up the creak without a paddle.

Yes, he is a prize ****!! You should be paid double next week AND have a free rein in his punishment. You ought to go round to his for dinner every night this week, and feed the kids lots of red bull so they drive him up the wall.

Seriously though, is there anything I can do? PM me if I can help. Or shall we have a whip-round here? Tinned food collection?

P.S. Porridge is very cheap...as is popcorn ;-)

It is called theft. Either he grows up and pays up, and is honest in the future, or you find another partner. You need to to take some control to monitor the funds, or he could end up bankrupting the business, even worse, have the law after you.

I know he is your brother, but he obviously cannot be trusted, and your priority is to your family, even if it means falling out with him big time.

Thats pretty bad. What a selfish idiot!

I'd ditch him until he grows up and learns about responsibility. Does he want to see his neices/nephews hungry and on the street because of his behaviour?

EDIT: can you contact the DSS and ask about a Crisis Loan? They may be able to help.
