The age difference is nothing, The day I got married i was 24 and that day my wife turned 19. We have been married for nearly 26 years
Invite him for a coffee at a cafe or lunch meal as this is less intimidating and doesnt put any undue pressure on either of you. Then play it by ear

Good luck. If he says no, remember he is losing out and that makes it his problem Not Yours

If you are scared of getting rejected or feeling like an idiot. Maybe you should give him some hints. Open the door and see if he walks in so to speak.

i would suggest that you don't tell him. if you do, and he doesn't feel the same way, there will be a lot of awkwardness - and it possibly will prevent any chance of him getting to like you as he knows you better.

i would suggest you flirt with him - but let him make the moves. encourage him to do so, of course... but guys in general like the chase...

telling him how you feel could really backfire. and if he likes you, the mystery will probably be a good thing.

Actions speak louder then words.

Stand close, but dont be clingy...

If he is receptive to you being close to him, and in his space...

he will pay back the feelings... if they are mutual...

if he does not, don't take it personal

and please... most guys uder the age of 25 have some sort of mental block when it comes to women and relationships.

this block is directly tied to their ears and any converstaion that relates to relationships.

I should know, I was in my late 30's before I could "hear" and "understand" what my wife wanted....

since u dont want to be rejected.. then dont tell him! though i suggest .. first do some flirting ... like eye-contact but the first step is always be friends with him! if ur lucky enough then u dont have to be friends with him.. ur flirting technique might work and he'll notice/realize u and maybe ask you out!

good luck

Say something like this--"If you ever get in the mood for some good company, give me a call."

Will this party have alcohol? If so, let it do all the work. If not, exchange glances, smile, if he looks and smiles back, he likes you so approach him and start talking/flirting.

Talk to him and tell him that you think you two should do something together some time. Then give him your number if he doesn't have it.
