This is in the state of colorado. Do I simply refile the financial affadavit to reflect the increase? How often can this be done in a year?

You can go back to court and ask that child support be raised, but remember, it is based on her income. You may have an increase in childcare expenses, but that doesn't mean they will increase her support. If she is already paying the max for her income then you will have to eat the cost.

Get your attorney to file for a child support increase due to the childcare increase. You will need to split the difference, however.

that is what you would have to do, unless you could simply talk with her, and she would agree to pay more. in the state of north carolina, you can have it "looked at for change" once every 3 years

ask your lawyer....if that don't work get it from her at gunpoint.
