My mother in law sends cards every year but this year nothing, but what makes it even worse is my son will be 3 tomorrow and she hasn't even sent a card for him!! I am of course annoyed, not so much about my card but for my son...who at the end of the day is her grandson. If I moan my husband sticks up for her...would this annoy anyone else?

How does it make you feel after having sex in this case?

And in general, how do you feel after sex with someone you love, but who does not love you back?

Is depression a common reaction? Does it have to lower your self respect, or is this not necessarily the case?

there is this boy that i have been seeing we use to meet up regularly and he use to call and text me all the time and so did i. Now all of a sudden he does not text or call and he wont answer any of my texts i dont understand why because we didnt have a row or anything, i really really like him though and i cant stop thinking about him and its beginning to do my head in. I dont understand because he seemed like a really nice person and i really liked him. I also text him saying if you have lost interest just text and tell me and we will leave it but he didnt even answer that and thats the most frustrating thing because i just want an answer and he wont even give me that and another thing i dont understand is why you would lead someone down the garden path for months and then just stop all contact at all without any explanation, what does it mean, PLEASE HELP!!

I've been seeing this girl (31, Divorced, 1 child) for 9 months. I treat them like they are my family. At first she told me that she doesn't see herself with a "heavy" person. I thought she ment someone like 400lbs. She ment me--I'm 5-11 220lbs with type I diabetes. If any of you know Its hard to maintain weight, regulate diet and blood sugars. Anyway our relationship progressed as if she never said it..we did everything together as a bf/gf or even being married.. Her son fell in love with me and even calls me "Daddy Todd" His dad is in his life weekly but I guess he really likes me. I change his diaper, read book, feed him, give him a bath, say prayers and put him to bed. His Mom says "Your a great friend Todd" Like kicking me in the nuts. She has needed cash, I've given it to her. But the big thing is she is a devoted Christian and works at a church. You wouldn't think someone would be so judgemental. She had a bad marrige 7 long years of being unhappy and not satisfied..

This is my old roommate, whom I thought was my good buddy... could've easily NOT ASKED for my blessing, because I DONT CARE if they hook up but let me know what he's doing. I have a daughter who will be 16 on 10/24/07. I had to have her leave our home beacause she was violent towards my husband and myself. She has been staying with a friend of hers' family. I DON'T want to give custody of her to anyone else. But at this point we are soul tired. Though I am weighed down completely by guilt, I am DONE with the fighting with her. I am ready to give up. Our entire family is at the point where no one will take her in now. They have all had it with her. We are desperate for some legal alternatives.

i try so hard to stay out of his way...that i end up...locking myself inside my own room the moment he arrives from school ...around 4pm...then i start drinking...more often than i usually did =(
whenever we accidentally bump into each other inside the house...he stares at me like he wants to attack me!...
sometimes...i'd have weird dreams...he's right outside my room...waiting...viciously...right outside my door..staring...violently at me while i'm sleeping...
he's only almost 14.

Do you feel that married people who have affairs are just using the opposite sex for their own pleasure and play toys? I mean... really... how can someone trust a person who is cheating on their husband/wife. They've already shown you they are a cheater, lier and conniving. My best friend came over to my house everyday for a week crying about her boyfriend who treats her really bad. Me and my husband put our own plans on hold to be here for her when she was upset. We tried to tell her he is no good for her, but she doesn't want to leave him. Now they made up and she acts like everything is totally normal. Me and my husband are kinda mad that he made her that upset that we disrupted our lives to help her, and now she acts like it never happened and wants to invite him when she is hanging out with me. married. on my 1st visit the mum couldnt get enough of me she loved me to bits. on my 2nd visit she was alright until 2 days b4 i had to leave she started being quiet and distance so i left her to it as my bf didnt think i did anything wrong. when i was leaving she didnt even get up to say goodbye but she was talking to me normally when i came back i rang her and confronted her i asked her she had a problem with me and she replied no and that the prob she had was within the house and she felt miserable in life. but when i was in italy she did say that i should know her character and that if she had a prob she would tell me there and then. so when i called her again and asked again she said no and that she has a big prob and its her own prob. my bf advised not to keep asking her otherwise it wud create a prob. when i spoke her one night ago i was ringing for 2hrs and she never answered and the l8ter when i rang she answered and we had a gud laugh. so am i worrying for nothing.

doesnt like me anymore after I stopped kissing her butt the first time we dated. Well she got her bf's sister who is my bfs mom to turn against me when this all happened. The so called Aunt said I became this liar and everything which was not true she was just mad I stopped kissing her butt. Well she even went to the point of breaking my bf and I up. Now that we are back together and he is living elsewhere she is still trying to wreck us. The other day she turned one of the Grandmas away from me. The Gma used to like me but then Jana found out and ran her mouth about me and things that werent true so now the Gma doesnt like me. Well I am getting stressed about this. my ex was 20 and i was 21 when we started dating and lasted 3 years. we had a great relationship and lost his virginity to me. our relationship made people sick cuz it seemed perfect. he told my step dad he couldnt see his life without me in it. he even got me a beautiful diamond ring. last oct we broke up over a dumb argument that escalated. we got back a week later to work things out but broke up next day. well during week split he met a girl at a bar. a month later (nov) he called me telling me they were engaged. i had no idea he had met anyone. we got back in dec cuz he said she was psycho and said he loved and missed me but was seeing her behind my back so we broke up new years eve. i saw him in may and he bought me roses and we kissed (they were having problems). they are still together and are getting married aug 2008. he was my first true love, did he really not love me like he claimed?? he hasnt known this girl for a year yet (know that for a fact) and he's gonna marry her.

This is a question that comes up quite a bit in my conversations with students, friends, etc.. I am in the process of doing a lot of soul-searching and re-evaluation of my past relationships. There is a part of me that doesn't want to believe this common belief, but I have to admit that my best relationships in the past have been with men I had no interest in at first, but who enjoyed pouring on the romance and friendshp and getting me to change my mind. On the flip side, I also see this pattern of men either disappearing without explanation or putting a lot of distance between us as soon as I let them know I like them too and want to spend more time with them. I have found this to be esp. true of men in big cities like NYC. What do you think is happening here? If a woman nowdays has to play "hard to get" in order to get a man, then that leaves me out of the game. It goes against my principles or beliefs to lie, hide, evade, manipulate, or play games. Thoughts?

During a weekend away with friends this girl I used to fancy asked me these questions:

1.How do I feel about her
2.If I fancy any girl at the mo
3.Am I sleeping with any girls/slept with any girls recently
4.Who are these girls I've met recently

We kept hugging each other continuosly-kisses on the neck/cheek etc (no snog!)

I told her she wanted to be friends only-so thats what we are.I asked if she wants that to change - NO ANSWER - WHY?

4.She says I'm too good for her - MEANING?

She then says she wants to spend the night with me - I said not for 1 night - then a major argument about 'US' starts-we both say hurtful words to each other

She continued to ask me this the next day(how I feel about her).Before she went on placement I told her how I feel.2 WEEKS later she responded but didn't say how she feels-she completly ignored what I wrote.No contact since.
