Who whats the divorce? There may be a middle ground here somewhere? Is a "Marriage Consular" possible? OK, maybe it's over! With only one wanting this it's going to take Lawyers and court, loud and messy. With one yea and one nay it's going to take some time, a year maybe. Kids involved? If No nothing else matters

No it means that the divorce will take 5 times longer to obtain and is more likely to be acrimonious as a result. No one can force another to be in a relationship - even a marriage. Trying to hold on to something that has ended is just a bit stupid.

No, it means there is a divorce - eventually. It takes two to make a marriage, but only one to make a divorce.

I couldn't answer this without knowing why one wants a divorce and why the other doesn't. I do think somebody is being selfish here, though. Maybe both of you. Counseling anyone?

There will still be a divorce but the lawyers will get rich extending the delay.

In most western countries it means a delay in getting one, but not a permanent one. You can get one after a certain time, even if your ex doesn't agree, but the time that that takes varies. You just have to prove that you haven't been living together, and have no intention of getting back together.

No, it doesn't. A marriage takes two people 100% committed to making it their priority. If one of the people has opted out and is not interested the marriage is over. Sorry.
