For example, if you're an orphan, or your family disowned you , or you live far far away from your nearest relatives. How do you fill that void? Especially around the holidays.

I live alone and my parents are deceased. I have no significant other or children either. So, it's just me.

My -best- friend gets me so upset.
She never listens,
she's so "popular" now.
She is so pretty and everyone loves her,
I feel soooooo left out.
Then this guy named Matt; calls me ugly and pale..every day!
And the 'popular/preppy' girls laugh at me all the time.
Everyone calls me weird or they don't notice me;
&&& i'm like- in LOVE with this guy.. he is so sweet! and helpful, and cute! but he likes my best friend......
and if i fail something, just ONE small thing, everyone gets disapointed in me. I can't play my clarinet for beans, either! NO ITS NOT JUST BECAUSE IM A GIRL: its because ANY human being with FEELINGS would feel hurt and betrayed when no one talks to them!
How can I start talking to people more, how can I make them like me? It's only been a month at school, and I feel like I don;t belong [its not a new school].

plus ++++ my dad is very "evil" [atleast, i believe so, for many reasons.] my mom isn't here, and she yells at me over the phone &so much other things

My Mother is getting remarried in December and she asked me to be her Matron of Honor. The thing is, I live across the country from her and I'm pregnant. I won't be able to make it home for her wedding until about 3 days before (which will be Christmas).
Ok- my questions are...
1) Am I suppose to throw a bridal shower for someone being married for the 2nd time?
2) Do I get them a gift- and if so what in the world could I buy a couple who has everything already?
3) And what else am I missing?

not me.. but i know a lot who had.. and it seems to end the same way.. divorce later on down the road... is it always in the back of their mind that because they cheated with you that now that your married they will cheat on you.. is your spouse jealous that you may cheat..do eighter of you seem to keep close taps on each other..how long did the marriage last.. the shortest one i have seen was a few years.. the longest was 22 yrs.. the man did not want to lose the house..or is it in the back of your mind he / she cheated with you then they may do it to you

ok, quick version. I'm in the military and currently stationed away from my husband. Had a fling w/ another soldier and ended up pregnant. My room mate told her boyfriend who then told the rest of the barracks that i was pregnant before I got the chance (ok I was acting like a chicken and taking my sweet time) to tell the guy. Well, he went ballistic. We are both married. I ended up telling him it wasn't his. Should I keep this secret? This could possibly ruin both our marriages and carriers.

I don't think there should be anything bad said about meeting or finding someone online, the bar is OK, but the nightclub is more questionable (a bunch of people dancing around and flirting, some in scantily clad clothing, to loud music).

me and my boyfriend have been dating for two years now but we have been on and off as my boyfriend didn't know what he really wants. during this time we had a lot of fights he disrespected me,he called me names, like ho**, ugly, he also beat me so many times, for no reason, he goes crazy when he is mad, he tried to kill us while he was driving, one day he threw a bottle of beer on my back, another he dropped me from his car and he took my phone and my wallet from me. we have been apart for 3 months now, and now he coming back apologizin for all the horrible things that he have done, everytime he talks to me he starts crying saying that he regrets everything he has done and that he is a changed person and he wants me to marry him, he said that he is willing to do anything i tell him so i go back to him. he has been crying fo 3 weeks now and i can;t stand seeing him like that and at the same time i am scared of what might happen in the future, i dont wanna go through any drama anymore.

Well I took some of your advice and told him that he had to try and fix things with his wife, and if he couldnt then to leave her.
I don't want to be a home wrecker, and I realized that so I'm trying to fix what has happened.

Well, today he left his wife. I wasn't expecting it. I was hoping he would stay and try to fix his marriage. He wants to file for divorce tomorrow. But I don't want to break there family apart.

When he told me he left her, I called her to see how she was holding up. She didnt even care. She said she was happy he did it.
I feel bad for this happening. I told her about me and him, and she said that she wasnt angry with me only because there relationship has been over for along time, they have just decided to do something.

I want to be with him, but I feel bad. What should I do?

Well I been with my boyfriend for about 2 months and everything is perfect. There is only one problem this guy at school. I don’t even know the guy I never talked to him or anything the only thing I know is his name but yet I don’t understand what is it about this guy that has me so crazy over him. I cant even describe what I feel for him its not like just regular feelings or liking him or having a crush its not like that all. Its just every time I see him pass me by in the hallways, at nutrition or lunch he just turns me on by just looking at him I go crazy and I want him so badly. its not that I wanna b with him or anything it just I want him. I cant say his the hottest guy at school or anything there is so many hotter ones but I don’t care about them there is just soemething special about this guy. When I see him every muscle, every bone in my body looses control. I never had this kinda feelings towards anybody. Its pretty weird by just looking at a stranger you get so turned on and all you can think about is being in a bed with this guy. What should I do??? ok well im quite sensitive... my boy friends little brother said i was ugly. but he told me a few months ago (before i was going out with his brother) that he liked me and told me i was hot etc. and then i was talking on the phone to my bf and he was listening then started laughing and being anoying and my bf sed he had 2 hurt him coz he called me ugly. doeshe really think i am? i don't think im pretty but i don't think im ugly either

I've posted before about my husband.
Short review: I split this summer, and came back 5 weeks ago. For the first 3 weeks he would wake me up at 3am and have arguments. The last 5 days the Psychiatrist told us not to discuss anything.

Then, today, I returned a loaner car to toyota, speeding to get home, got a ticket, it set me off, boy was I ticked off, and then when I got home my mother called, and I was just chatting, and I told her I had frootloops cereal for dinner. My husband says, "Tell her I offered to make you dinner so she doesn't think I don't cook for you." He completely took it in a wrong direciton, got pissed, started saying the cats smelled.
I said, "okay then i should get up this moment and bathe them?" He said, "Yes". I went up, and filled the tub, then he let the cat out of the bathroom! I said, "why areyou so anrgy? what have you to be angry about?" He said, "I cant be angry? I always told you that you drivet too fast!" and slammed the door to his office.(more)
