Me and my Fiance don't drink. We won't have any alcoholic beverages served at the wedding. Is it ok to still have a toast using sparking apple cider? or instead of a toast, just have the maid of honor and best man say a few words.

Is it the thought of your SO, another man/woman, an object, clothing or is it just a feeling of being sexy? What makes you feel sexy?

I am finding it hard to handle my teenage daughter. She is 15 and does not want to cooperate with me for anything.

She refuses to get up on time or study when she should. Then, she cries because she did not get anything done.

She was living with her father from age 10 to 15 and I had a chance to reunite with him, but did not. He said that I could not handle our daughter alone. I wonder if he was right.

I can not get my daughter to work with me for anything. She ended up not going to her part-time job today because she wasted the whole evening last night and did not study for a test that is Friday. She pinches me and says, "Why did I not study?" Then, she wets the bed at night. This was a problem for her earlier.

Have I caused her too much stress by moving out from my parents and not reuniting her with her father? I hate to beg her to do things, but I end up doing that.

I am at my wits end????

How often do you have a "girls night out" with your friends? And do you ever find yourself feeling guilty about going out while your husband is home with the kids? Is your husband supportive of this or does he get angry or upset when you plan something. For me, my husband is very supportive of my night out with the girls and we only get together maybe once a month or maybe even once every two months. But I have noticed that my friends husbands are not as supportive. They tend to complain about having to watch the kids or they think that it is silly to want to go out with friends instead of being home with them watching t.v. or something. I don't understand why some guys act like this. Does anyone else face this problem with either your husband or your friends husbands? And please be honest!

My parents and I were invited to my cousin's wedding but a few days prior, my mother fell and broke her arm. She had to have surgery and had a serious reaction to the pain meds and she was very sick for a few days.
My parents decided it would be too hard for her to travel the 5 hours to the wedding, and she called to tell them what happend and we couldn't make it.
A couple of days ago at a family event, my cousin and his wife went out of their way to embarass my mother and my Dad in front of our relatives for what they felt was a poor excuse for not attending the wedding. My mother is heartbroken and very upset over this.
Is there anything we did wrong or that we could do to amend things? We sent them a big check in the mail too.
PS- my cousin has a rep for having a temper.
Sorry for the long story!

I know my partner looks at porn and although I'm not happy, I have come to accept it. However, I just looked at his internet history and have found out that he has been looking at teenage porn sites and some even had school children etc. Did he look at these pages on purpose or maybe he found them accidentally while trying to look at other porn sites? Is his behavour normal or revolting? I don't know what I should do! I love this man and we have been together for 4 years, there is nothing he wouldn't do for me. He helped me fight my depression and anxiety etc. Should I confront him or leave this porn subject unmentioned?

So my now very recent ex and I agreed a week ago we'll go on a 2 day break because we need to look over our 2 1/2 year relationship to see if we're ready to go the next step because we've been talking about engagement. So I go out of town and my back stabbing best friend set him up on a date with her friend. He was also very willing to go, so the 2nd night we were on our break he goes on this date with her, now they've hung out a few times and taking her out again on Saturday, and thats why we broke up, he wanted to start dating her. But for right now we're just roommates, seperate rooms and everything cuz we both work like 2 minutes away. He's waiting for another apartment to be available.
Has he truely already wanted out of this relationship or is he trying to hurt me and make me jealous? Cuz it's hurting me bad. I didn't want to break up, and he's just being hurtful to me. He said she's beyond fine and I have nothing compaired to her. That hurt...

you have a daughter with your psyco ex who makes your life miserable becasue she's miserable she does unbelieveable things.

You and the ex have been apart 1year in a half and she still acts like this.

In that time met somone you been seeing for 51/2 months who showed you a diffrent way a women could be and you thought she was the greatest thing it was almost to good to be true.

you let the girl know as time went on how the ex was and some things she did.

Now as a man your at a crossrads and you not sure of what you want why?

If the girl you been seeing chooses to ride it out with you in the long run what are the chances you'll be with her or should she cut her losses and walk away????

The first time my sister got married I was 15 and she made me her maid of honor. I'm her only sister. She got married again, to her new husband, and didn't choose me as her maid of honor. She picked her friend. She also chose her friend's kids to be the flower girl and ring bearer, not my kids or my brother's kids. I was really hurt, and so was my sister in law, (about her kids not being chosen. We felt like she could have had more than one flower girl/ring bearer.) I know it's her wedding, but it still hurt. My question is, if I ever get married, would it be catty to not pick her as my maid of honor? I was her's the first time. Any thoughts?

Here's the dilemma
he cusses and yells as loud as possible at my daughter but never yells and screams at his two boys in the same way or as loud as he does her. She's his step daughter and he says he dont like her ways. But seriously, she is so sweet and would give her right arm to anyone even him if needed. She can just get on his nerves just by talking to me and he blows off at her. I'm afraid that one day she will either hate me for it ( for not leaving) or she will eventually run away to my sisters or possibly grow up to be a miserable, sick minded, suicidal person. I'm telling y'all this because I really want to know what your opinions are as to helping him control this anger. His sons can tear stuff up(lawn care equipment: serious stuff), not mind rules, dress like thugs, not do their chores or help around the house and he wont say anything but if he does it aint yelling! Now he does cuss at them every once in a while but not like he does her over little things.

My friends and I had a discussion the other day and they both said that as far as cheating on your partner goes (bearing in mind that we all agree neither is OK) kissing is worse than having sex. They're rationale being that kissing is more intimate and sex is just sex. I said that I felt sex was worse, coz legally for adultery to have occured sexual intercourse has to have taken place, and personally, I couldn't have just sex (voluntarily) without getting emotionally involved whereas I could kiss someone and it would mean nothing.
I'm not asking anyone to settle an argument because clearly this is a matter of opinion.
I'm just asking what other ppl think?

do you feel like you've lost yourself in your relationship or have married the wrong person? If so, what do you do to cope?

Are they just looking for the easy way out? Do they not realize marriage IS hard and DOES require fighting like h*ll to make it work?
Why do so many people think counseling is a bad thing? They obviously can't fix their problems all on their own, so why not accept the fact that someone can HELP??
Despite the fact that we live in a microwave world where we can get everything NOW, marriage is something that takes time. It didn't break overnight, so you can't snap your fingers and expect it to suddenly get better.
What's the deal? Are we THAT selfish?

i'm used to having some alone time to read, do hobbies, daydream, whatever. but i haven't had ANY since my husband moved in (just before we got married). I don't even get solitary bathroom time for showering & grooming (only for toilet related things--and even then he gets cranky when i take too long. yes i do occassionally linger, because it's the only time i get to myself!!) the thing is, we're starting to bicker, constantly. i love him a lot, i really do, but i'm feeling confined and imposed on a lot lately. he makes me tense & edgey & i've been defensive & snappy a lot (so has he). i feel like he's always criticizing me, he questions everything i do, even things like why do i sit to shave my legs when i get the chance, instead of doing it in the shower (which i have only had 2 by myself in over a year). he acts like he thinks i'm going to cheat on him any minute (or that i already have & that i hide it from him). i'm not going to, and i tell him that, he doesn't really believe me.

We are on a budget, so I can't afford a lot of bridesmaids. I have asked my best friend and my goddaughter, but my sister and my fiance's sister thinks it's their 'right' to be my bridesmaids. My other sister doesn't mind.

Also, we are only have one usher and best man, so one bridesmaid and one flowergirl will balance it well.

Been with wife for 5 years. Recently she's been telling me things are not the same as the used to be. I just started smoking cigarrettes again after about 2 years we were together & she says she doesn't like it. She's been trying to get me to quite for a while now, but it's not like I'm a chain smoker. I just do it while at work but maybe once at home a night. I can understand it's a turn off to some people but some of the comments she says make me feel she's just been in the relationship physically and not emotionally.

On a different note: When I just want to hug her or hold her, she thinks I want sex. Even when I just lay down in bed with her, she thinks I'm just laying there until time passes & that I'll just ask for sex. Shouldn't sex be something we both want & not just me? I'm just frustrated with the situation & I don't know what to do.
