I have been chatting with this guy for over 1 week.. and he emails me some pics of him and his kids.. I mean if he wants to email me the pics, that's fine, why kids.. . I dont understand..

He wants you to know before your relationship progresses in any form, friendship or romantic, that he has children. If he's not interested in a long term relationship, then he's showing you that if he seems distracted, it's because his family comes first. If he IS thinking long term, then he wants to make sure you're okay with kids, and are willing to spend time with him AND them.
If you want to date a guy with kids, you can't be selfish. You may have to sacrifice sometimes. You also have to remember that he's been involved with someone else before you came along. There may be baggage other than kids to deal with. He may have been hurt and may harbor some misgivings about another serious relationship.
A week is a short time to decide if you're compatible. Keep writing, and when you're comfortable, explain to him why you were confused with his kids pictures. He might open up more on the subject.

If he ever pops the question about meeting you he is giving you all the facts you should know to help make a decision. If you like the chat and that's all it is enjoy. I am sure he is waiting to receive pics from you.

Well if a guy has kids, they're a part of his life, why wouldn't he show you pictures? Most proud parents do. He may want to be honest upfront about his life. OR... he could be trying to get in your pants by showing you what a sweet caring person he is... who knows?

I agree that he is a proud father and really wants you to understand that his kids are a package deal.

He probably figures the longer he waits to tell you he has kids, the more awkward it will be?
His children SHOULD be his entire life, he could be just showing them off.

he emailed them to you because he wants you to know that he has children before you get serious or decide to date the guy. he just wants you to know what's going on him his life before you decide to be a part of it.
