Marriage & Divorce - 14 November 2007

My husband and I have been married for a couple of years and he is addicted to playing x-box games. We have gone to counselling and everything and I have slept alone for nearly our entire marriage because he comes to bed during the early hours of the morning. It has gotten really horrible at times... right now it is bad because Halo 3 came out. I have complained about going to bed alone the most. I said that he could lay next to me at night until I fall asleep and then he can play his games for an hour or so. This wasn't good enough, he only did it for a few days and after yelling at me, he went back to playing the same as before. I just want someone to want to be with me. I don't want to make him because I hate that he doesn't want to. I guess the question is, should I demand that he goes to bed with me? We have a child and I can't stay up all night waiting for him to be done playing for the night. (he's 27 with a good job in case that's in question)

I have divorced-record, and my new BF doesn't know it yet.
He thinks I have never got married to anyone, he believes it.
So should I tell the truth to him? My nationality is diffrent from him, so he may not notice anything about me, if he does't try to know.And then I also don't tell my true age to him yet too...but soon, my real age will be come up, it'll be ok.

CA said they couldn't help so he didn't pay anyting. He paid in FL and moved. Now WA says all is forgiven when the youngest turns 28. Why? The lout still owes me $20,000 and he's getting away scott free (no offense to any scotts in the crowd). I know this happens to guys, too, so I'm looking for answers, not pointing fingers.

I am from another country. My husband has 2 kids from his previos marrige.My husbands parents love those children very, very much. They kissing them, given them presents, seeing them almost every day< I mean they crazy about the children. Now we have our own children. And it is so strange, my husbands parents don't want to do anything with them. They even didn't came to the hospital, when they were born. My baby had a surgery, they didn't come to see him, It hurt my feelings so bad, I was crying for several days. The bad thing is, that I don't have anybody else here. All my family is very far.So, I am all by myself. My husband always screaming on me on our children.Everything is my and ours kids fault
He is bad bussinesman, We don't have a house, we don't have money, he has big childsupport, He put me in a bankruptcy, now he fill my credit cards again, I can't say no, it will be a scandal. And he doesn't love me anymore. What about our children, I don't want to break there hearts..

i want 2 know how many wives would b bothered by this + how many men think im being unfair. ive been married 4 a little over a year but ive been w/ my husband 4 almost 8 years. anyways, we both have myspace accounts + every now + then ill see a girl i dont know added as one of his friends. it makes me unconfortable that he has many girls from his past on his page. i dont think hes cheating but i also dont like some of these girls even having his phone number. when i talk 2 him about it he says i dont have the right 2 tell him that he cant have girl friends, + that some of these girls hes known longer than me. that basically its just me being jealous + insecure + hes doing nothing wrong. i want to know if i should b telling him 2 stop talking 2 these girls, should it even bother me, am i being unfair...ect. or any other advice or opinions anyone has 2 offer. personally i think that whether im being insecure or not, if it bothers me he should stop talking 2 them on phone + internet!!

i think because of the rise of cellphones... the amount of marriages that ended up in divorce has rised greatly,,, because now that everyone knows where the other is it is very hard for the person that wants to lie to do so, that way, trust is very hard to give because people cant lie as easy anymore. does that make sence to peoplles?

I'm afraid and embarrassed to see one, but I've been having feelings for another married man (and I'm married myself). Not only that, but the reason why I have strayed from my own marriage is because when I want to spend time with my husband, he rather just play his WoW game. He talks to his friends on WoW than me. We hardly communicate in person. We send each other a lot of emails at work, but that is not the same thing. He doesn't seem to have opinions of his own, and most time uses my own words or other people's words.

I'm just not as attracted to him as I am with this other man. I hardly know the other man, so he may not be all that either, but I feel lost. What can counselors do that people on yahoo answers can't do? :P

I'm thinking about going to see one by myself first since my husband doesn't think we need one, but I think I do.

BACKGROUND INFO:
1. Me and Boyfriend have been together for 8 months
2. We’ll be engaged soon- married next year( He has
bought the ring and yes I have seen it ;-)
3. I make three times more than him……..
4. He asked me for money about 20 times- 10 of those
times were for necessary expenses which I have helped out but had to rough it a little without the money. The other 10 times were for unnecessary expenses like an I.POD, T.V. Clothes

Problem:
He feels there's nothing wrong with asking me for money..

and

I feel offended and irritated because he should be able to live off what he earns.

Please answer any one or all of the following:

How do I explain to my boyfriend that continually asking me for money and material things is offensive and irritating?

What's the difference between asking and begging?

If you were a complete and utter *** to your finace because you said mean things and he stated it would better that you didn't see him for the 10 days that you planned to visit. Because this is not the first, second, or third time you were mean to him and used your tongue to be harsh.

Oh and if you did visit him he stated to you he wouldn't see you, and he mentioned that it wasn't over you just needed to work out a couple of things,....

Would you have......

Went to see him anyway even if he said he was so angry he didn't want to see you, because of the off chance he would have changed his mind?

I haven't been alone with him in a few years. I just happened to see him today and we talked for about an hour. He held my hand and told me that he missed me and thought about me often. Before we parted ways, he kissed me. It was one of those kisses you feel from head to toe. I love him more than I've ever loved anyone before. I miss him everyday. But, it seems that everytime something starts up again with us, it doesn't work out. I know I'm going to get sucked in again. It happens everytime. It's like I have an addiction when he's involved. Ok. I have been married for 7 years with my husband for 10. About 3 years ago things started to fall apart. I found out he was talking to girls all the time at all hours. He was gone all the time "working" and then one night he came home drunk and hit me many times. We have been separated every since about 5 months. We are currently going through the divorce process and are getting close to the end. My problem is that I still love him, even after all of it. Am I stupid or should I consider not going through the divorce? I feel like the victim, and he took away everything. He has asked to come back many times which I said no. it's not me or anything. but my bro is going through a really bad divorce, and his soon to be ex wife (WHO CHEATED ON HM WITH THE GUY SHE IS WITH NOW) is trying to find any reason to screw him over as much as possible. she had an investigator go over to her apartment and check out their computer. the porn was looked up AFTER he moved out of that apartment. but since the computer is registered in his name, it's getting pinned on him. she also has a new boyfriend living with her, which is illegal now anyway since they are not divorced yet and have a 3 year old daughter. how, if we can, do we prove that it wasn't my bro? if he gets this all pinned on him, he will lose what little custody he already has of his daughter. what do we do?

My husband had an affair 2 months before we got married and it continued for 1 yr after we got married. I of course did not find out until the day before we had our first child. I left for a few weeks but we decided to try and make it work. It has been a hellacious ride ever since. I just don't think I will ever love or trust him again. It'll be 3 yrs in may 08 and he hasn't done anything since then, well that I know of, and he's joined the army and is trying to do all the right things. I love him but I don't love him like I use to. My mind is always filled with unwanted thoughts of him cheating on me again or leaving me and our two girls, after I have sacraficed even more of my life trying to make it work. I'm scared that I will finally let my guard down and he will do it again. And sometimes I just don't get why I stayed and I want to leave. Does anyone have any advice. I feel so lost and confused, i just don't feel like myself anymore. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.
