well heres the thing! i think she does deserve something but not that much! MIcheal Jordan is Michael Jordan because of what he did not because he was married. he worked hard for what he made but he was stupid because he didnt get a prenup. If you are a super star or think you will be one you have to get a prenup , no matter how much you love your spouse. I think maybe she should get something becasuse she was there for him and she put up with his life and may have put her life on hold for him. she had to deal with the kids(did they have kids) she had to deal with the phone calls death threats, fan mail, drama and all the other lil things we dont know about, so yes she does deserve something like in the area of a couple of million or so but not that much. hopefully it is only that amount and not a part of his future earnings. I think honestly would I would not like to take this guy to the cleaners. I would want ot be known for something like a teacher or a caregiver. I really hope she did something and is not laying around the house collecting this money. I hope they also have lots of kids and thats the reason why she needsthis money.

Well, she had to put up with him traveling on the road all the time, possibly cheating on her, etc.
If he didn't get a pre-nup, that's his problem. It also goes by how long they were together. They were married for a really long time. She was with him for a lot of his career. In divorces, it counts if a lot of the money was made during marriage. I think he should've gotten a pre-nup, but has it occurred to you that maybe he thought she deserved to get that. Maybe he wanted her to get that money since it was earned during their marriage.

I don't care how many thumbs down I get. I'm going to say it how I see it. Freedom of Speech. He cheated on her. I think she deserves quite a bit for putting up with that.
