You say: 'play together or I'm putting you into a home!'

It's an age-old addage .. that sisters & brothers fight.

This has gone on since the beginning of time.

When they fight, you can separate them from playing together .. then not allow them to do the FUN stuff until they can play together nicely.

If that does not work .. then don't let them play at all .. not even alone .. and don't let them do any good things since they were fighting .. like watching tv, playing games, etc.

You will have to try alternative things to see what works. There is a way to get their attention .. however, they are going to fight. You just have to be the referee. Be a firm one.

Whatever you tell them that you will do .. do it every time .. in other words - keep your word .. and be firm.

You do things that involve teamwork. My kids play music, sports. They have to do chores together. We generally try to promote a teamwork attitude in anything we do. We go on camping trips where everyone has a job to do. Kids are always going to fight, it's how they work out problems. Teaching them how to fight fair is a good thing. Kids need adults to teach them problem solving skills. You can also set certain rules to stop fighting. Example. My kids were always fighting over who got what seat in the van. My solution? Assigned seats that change monthly. No more fighting. My kids were fighting over computer time. Solution, time them.
Hope that helps, good luck ;)
